Toorji's Step Well - a été construit dans les années 1740 par la reine du Maharaja Abhaya Singh. Submergé pendant près d'un siècle, son drainage, son nettoyage et sa restauration récents ont permis de découvrir plus de deux cents pieds de trésor sculpté à la main dans la célèbre pierre de sable rose-rouge de Jodhpur ; des sculptures complexes d'éléphants dansants, des trombes médiévales de lions et de vaches, et des niches abritant des divinités disparues depuis longtemps. Votre séjour à Jodhpur serait incomplet sans une visite à ce merveilleux monument.
Ghanta Ghar Jodhpur est la clé de la méthode peu orthodoxe par laquelle il a été construit. Avec les tours d'horloge, le design sera généralement gothique dans son genre. En tout cas, lors de la tentative de construction par le Maharaja Sardar Singh dans la seconde moitié des années 1890, le Ghanta Ghar reçut très vite une perspective indienne, que l'on peut en tout cas voir aujourd'hui. Comparé à une tour d'horloge carrée, c'est une véritable merveille architecturale et cela vaut le détour pour toute personne sortant de Jodhpur.
Vous pouvez voir la ligne bleue où vivent la plupart des communautés brahmanes dans des maisons bleues qu'ils ont peintes en bleu avec du calcaire, ils ont mélangé un peu d'indigo, ce qui protège également de la chaleur et des moustiques.
Vous voyez la meilleure vue depuis la colline de Pachetia comme Blue City sur la vieille ville avec vue à 360°

A beautiful experience! After booking, they confirmed it to me. Subsequently, the guide contacted me! Since I was alone at the time I selected, the guide was very kind and came to pick me up on a motorcycle outside the hotel and brought me back as well. The guide was very knowledgeable, available, and explained the history of the blue houses of Jodhpur, the city, Mehrangarh Fort, and the clock square very well. She takes all the photos you want and invites you to take various shots of the place! I recommend it to anyone! Congratulations!

This was a great morning walking tour. It was moulded to what i wished to see. All my many questions were answered. I would not have found some of the small lanes we walked along. It was helpful to know about some of the street art as well. Narendra is knowledgeable and helpful.

We had a wonderful day with Nagendra in Jodhpur. He was extremely accommodating to our needs and very patient while we took countless photos. I paid for a five-hour tour with the driver and guide in Italian. The guide Tarun very good and competent, very good Italian! 94€ to the tour operator for 45 minutes by car and the guide, excluding entrance fees, is too much. After my complaints I was given back 2000 rupees but still overpriced considering the cost of living here.
It was an amazing Tour with Lots of lovely Taste. We visited hidden places and Nagendra told is a lot of interesting storys of the historie and the different Indian food. Thank you, good luck, Guido and Michael

We booked this tour with this guide He was able to show us the blue city with its beautiful alleys, beautiful temples and even non-tourist parts and that was really nice! He also introduced us to culinary specialties and a place that was not rated, which made this experience a real moment of sharing The visit of fort is also a beautiful moment to do!
