Une excellente alternative pour ceux qui n'aiment pas voyager en bus. Un voyage au parc national d'Akamas commencera par une visite des points culminants de Paphos Shipwreck Edro et des grottes marines. L'itinéraire du voyage mène à travers les endroits les plus intéressants de la péninsule d'Akamas et ravira à coup sûr les amoureux de la nature et les amateurs de sensations fortes.. Le programme comprend une promenade dans les gorges naturelles d'Avakas et une visite à Lara Beach, qui est un lieu de nidification pour les tortues marines.Presque toutes les formations géologiques de Chypre - vallées, grottes, sentiers et canyons sont représentées dans la réserve d'Akamas.Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers la piscine naturelle, entourée de verdure – Bains d'Aphrodite (temps libre pour le déjeuner) Et la visite se terminera dans une cave locale avec dégustation de vigne

Un chemin rocheux entre des rochers accidentés Le parcours à travers la gorge est caractérisé par une végétation épaisse et un environnement particulièrement attractif, ombragé et humide. En randonnée, vous pourrez étudier les plantes indigènes: lentisque (Pistacia lentiscus), genévrier phénicien (Juniperus phoenicea), térébinthe (Pistacia terebinthus), genêt épineux (Calycotome villosa), smilax commun (Smilax aspera), laurier-rose (Nerium oleander), storax ( Styrax officinalis) et la centaurée endémique d'Akamas (Centaurea akamantis) en voie de disparition. Les principales espèces de faune présentes dans la zone sont: Mammifères: renard, lièvre, hérisson. Oiseaux: Traquet chypriote (endémique), paruline chypriote (endémique), petit-duc (endémique), perdrix, petit hibou, crécerelle, pigeon sauvage. Reptiles: lézard Stellion. Amphibiens: grenouille des marais, grenouille irisée, grenouille arboricole.
Sur une plage isolée loin des hôtels, des magasins et de tout équipement public, la minuscule station de conservation des tortues de la baie de Lara aide les bébés tortues à éclore et à se diriger vers la mer. Parfois, pendant la saison d'éclosion, il y aura des réservoirs d'eau avec de minuscules tortues de mer à l'intérieur qui viennent de sortir de leurs œufs à la station. À d'autres moments, vous rencontrerez des cages en fer et des panneaux éparpillés le long de la plage avertissant des nids de tortues enfouis dans le sable en dessous. Les cages les protègent des prédateurs tels que les oiseaux et les renards.

Our driver was not very happy, didn’t really talk to us and many of the stops felt rushed. Also not all the stops advertised were included. We were combined with another family who were doing a boat trip rather than 4 x 4 beach. I discovered they paid less than we did. The swimming at the blue lagoon was amazing. We were disappointed by the limited lunch options. I am still glad we did it.

We booked this trip for my birthday and it did not disappoint! Mario was amazing, very funny, knowledgable and knew all the secret tips to make the day fantastic. Super friendly driver. He told us a lot, we were on trails that can only be traveled by jeep or quad bike and came to all the highlights.

A great day out - I'd probably dock half a star as the guide didn't really introduce himself, and occasionally wanted to stay back while we adventured. But he also handled a situation with a very difficult (spoilt) passenger who didn't take into account that these tours need to be flexible when the weather gets extreme - just go with the flow, make friends, and have fun. P.S. always, I mean always take a coat and a towel. You can leave things in the jeep but the weather in Cyprus will turn corners quicker. Great tour, would recommend.

Superb experience, despite a not terrible weather. We're taking it easy. The driver was great! Too bad not to lower the price when you can't do everything because of the precipitation of his last days. But really great anyway. A little disappointed for the turtle part we thought we'd see a center, not just an empty beach at this time of year.

Bambos was an excellent driver enabling us to see different areas that we would not have driven ourselves Definitely need comfortable shoes and good idea to take water There were only 8 of us but that was plenty as all adults and would have been a real squash in back of Jeep if there had been 10 of us

To start this review on a positive, some of the sights we saw were pretty. Unfortunately it felt rushed, the guide felt rushed and just felt like they had somewhere better to be. I wish there was more clarification on when we can go down to Laura Bay because of the time (March) we couldn't go and because of the timing we didn't get to fully explore the gorge like the pictures, got to see other people go in further but not us. I think you need to put in your description; the expectation of what to see depending on the months you go for example Jan-March Laura Bay isn't visitable because if I knew this was the case I probably wouldn't have booked it, same with the Gorge. In the description it says you get to study the native flowers and animals but again we didn't do that, it felt like the guide had somewhere better to be. It also says local wine tasting, again didn't do that. Overall I wouldn't recommend this tour because of our experience.

The trip was great, we would never have visited half of the places we got to in the Jeep. Our guide Bamboss was great, he said his english was not very good, but we felt he was excellent and great at giving us the history and background of the places we visited. The Jeep was filled with like minded people all out to enjoy the day and honestly I would have joined the other tour with the same company if I had the time on my trip. Ones for next time when we have more than one day to fit these things in. The price of the tour was more than fair given the amount of driving that we had to do to visit the sites. I would not have dreamt of driving on some of the roads we had to use, but the whole trip was amazing. Communication from the operator was excellent and we were updated leading right up to pick up.
