Voici votre opportunité de découvrir le meilleur de Madère. Nous avons commencé par visiter le point de vue de Cabo Girão, l'un des plus hauts points de vue d'Europe. Nous continuons notre voyage sur les sentiers ruraux de Lugar de Baixo, le long de routes agricoles traditionnelles qui nous mènent hors des sentiers battus à travers la forêt de Laurissilva jusqu'au plateau de Paul da Serra. Nous faisons un bref arrêt dans un bar local où nous présentons notre traditionnelle Poncha (facultatif). Nous continuons vers Fanal, où nous nous arrêtons pour observer son parc naturel, où l'on retrouve des arbres centenaires, sa faune et sa flore. Poursuivant notre visite, nous nous dirigerons vers Porto Moniz, où nous ferons une pause pour goûter à la cuisine locale (déjeuner) et profiter des piscines naturelles pour une brève baignade (facultatif). Nous avons repris la visite en passant par des lieux tels que Ribeira da Janela, Ribeira Funda, Seixal, des lieux riches en culture madérienne, des plages naturelles, des cascades, etc. Fin de notre voyage en retournant à Funchal.

Notre voyage de ce côté de l'île passe par des endroits mythiques comme le mirador du Cap Girão, l'un des miradors les plus célèbres d'Europe avec une hauteur de 589 mètres.
Nous observons les sentiers typiques de Madeira, les sentiers typiques des fruits tropicaux comme la banane, la papaye, le mango, etc...
Arrêt pour PONCHA, café, salle de bain, etc...
Nous partons en tout-terrain dans la forêt de lauriers avec des vues incroyables, uniquement possibles avec nos véhicules 4×4.
Ensuite, nous commençons notre ascension vers les montagnes, où nous nous arrêtons au fanal pour observer sa forêt, où vous pourrez vous émerveiller, vous amuser, vous promener ou vous détendre simplement en observant ses arbres centenaires, sa flore et sa faune.
Ici, nous nous arrêtons pour déjeuner dans un restaurant local. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pourrez piquer une tête dans les piscines naturelles pour une expérience unique.
Passez pour voir la célèbre rivière de la fenêtre et ses îles en face de la mer du Nord.
Arrêt sur la plage de sable noir du Seixal.
Passage par la ville de Saint-Vincent, occasion d'observer les cascades, goûter le rhum et la biodiversité et les routes du nord.

Last minute trip but an amazing Fantastic fun day out experiencing everything Madeira has to offer 🥳🎉🕺
Great day out. Picked up and dropped off from the hotel. Friendly knowledgeable guide. The off road bits are not scary no horrible cliff edges. Nice balance with time not being rushed from point to point. 2 hours in porto moniz for lunch and swimming in the lava pools. You get a flavour of life on the west side of the island.
From start to finish our guide and driver Francisco was excellent (definitely deserves a bonus!). Very knowledgable, considerate, and an incredible driver given some of the roads are a bit hairy! All our stops were well thought out and gave us good time to explore and enjoy. Nothing was too much trouble. We rallied with two other jeeps from the same company for the journey and they were good fun too! Excellent company on the ride, and it was just a fantastic experience and opportunity to see the west of the island. *they also offer to book a buffet in Porto Moniz for you. It’s €21 and directly opposite the volcanic rock pools. I’d say it was worth it for taste, time, and getting in the sea quicker! Definitely recommend sturdy shoes, a coat, and swimwear for this trip. You’ll go through a plethora of weather and terrain but it all adds to the fun. Very grateful for a wonderful day out!
Abandoned us on the other side of the island. Was 1.5 hours late to pick us up. Unfortunately this company can not be trusted. Cost us €125 for a return taxi from where they abandoned us.
Fun and informative day out. Can be a bit windy and chilly at the Fanal Forest so a jacket is a good idea.
We enjoyed seeing such varied landscapes from beach to mountains on this tour! If you suffer from motion sickness, take medication ahead of time as climbing the mountain can be hard even inside the Jeep. Up the mountain can be cooler so bring layers and bring money for your stops not included, snacks, lunch and souvenirs.
Absolutely amazing experience! The Jeep Safari 4x4 West Madeira tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day fun and relaxed. The off-road sections were exciting without ever feeling unsafe, and the views at Porto Moniz, Fanal, and Cabo Girão were breathtaking. We loved the mix of adventure, nature, and local insights.
