Voici votre opportunité de découvrir le meilleur de Madère. Nous commençons notre visite par la visite du Pico do Areeiro, l'un des plus hauts sommets de Madère. Nous continuons notre voyage le long des sentiers ruraux de Ribeiro Frio, en faisant un bref arrêt dans un bar local où nous présentons notre traditionnelle Poncha (facultatif). Nous continuons le parcours le long des routes agricoles qui nous emmènent hors des sentiers battus à travers la forêt de Laurissilva jusqu'à Santana, où nous faisons une pause pour goûter la cuisine locale (déjeuner) et connaître sa culture, comme les maisons de Santana. Nous avons repris notre marche, le long des anciennes routes jusqu'à Miradouro do Guindaste. Nous continuons vers le point le plus oriental de l'île, Ponta de São Lourenço, terminant notre voyage de retour à Funchal.

Après la prise en charge, nous avons commencé notre voyage au célèbre Pico do Areeiro, le plus haut endroit accessible de l'île, avec une vue imprenable sur ses montagnes volcaniques.
Nous sommes ensuite descendus au Ribeiro Frio, un lieu caractérisé par sa riche flore et faune, et ses étangs de traitement et d'élevage de truites.
Arrêt pour PONCHA, café, salle de bain, etc...
Nous faisons l'un des plus beaux off-road de l'île de Madère en observant sa flore et sa faune.
Nous faisons le levage des comptoirs si le temps le permet
Nous avons continué notre voyage vers Santana, en passant par de magnifiques et uniques sentiers hors route, accessibles uniquement avec nos véhicules 4×4. Nous avons déjeuné dans un restaurant à Santana (facultatif) où nous nous sommes arrêtés pour observer les maisons emblématiques de Santana et son magnifique village.
Arrêt pour observer le mirador de la grue, le sol en verre au-dessus de la mer, et la mer de la côte nord du bois
Visite aux engins du Nord avec preuve de rhum, en comprenant ses origines et la façon dont il est fait
Nous continuons notre voyage en nous arrêtant dans des bars locaux, des points de vue et des lieux aux paysages uniques jusqu'à atteindre la destination finale, la pointe de São Lourenço située au bout de l'île.

We joined the East Madeira 4x4 safari on April 11, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! 🌄 Our driver and guide, Francisco, made the experience truly special. He knows an incredible amount about the island, and you can clearly feel how proud he is of Madeira. Throughout the day, he shared many interesting facts and fun stories about the nature, history, and local life, which made the tour both beautiful and very informative. The route was stunning and varied, with breathtaking viewpoints and places you wouldn’t easily reach on your own. Thanks to Francisco’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and relaxed atmosphere, it was a fantastic day from start to finish. We originally tried to leave a 5-star review on GetYourGuide, but something went wrong with the rating during submission. That’s why we’re leaving our review here instead — this experience absolutely deserves five stars!

Really good whole day 4x4 adventure. Francesco our driver was very experienced, especially with the off road part, and knowledgeable about the trip and island. Great lunch, poncha and rum factory stops. Plenty of clean fresh air above the clouds Thank you for a great day!
We were let down by the group doing the safari as a driver had been rushed to hospital. But they managed to book us on the same trip but with PF Private Tours. They were great and Samuel the driver was fantastic. He was very friendly and told us a lot about the tour as well as island life as a local. I would certainly recommend PF Private Tours to anyone.
We would very much recommend this tour and the west tour. We did both of them and were do impressed with our tour guides and highly skilled drivers ( Cristiano and John). They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were justifiably proud to show us their beautiful island. The scenery was magnificent and we were in awe of their driving skills taking us off road and on roads that bigger tour vehicles could not have attempted.
We had a very nice day and experience. Our driver tells a lot of the places we went to. My son (12) loved it to.
We booked a full day jeep tour of the East Side of Madeira and we weren't disappointed. Our driver,Francisco, was amazing. He was personable, knowledgeable and very likeable. Doing a tour by jeep means you get to see some places you couldn't see by coach and overall it was a more intimate experience. We didn't feel rushed at any of the numerous stops, Francisco was obviously very proud of his home island and seemed to enjoy showing us the sights and sharing Madeiran history and folk stories. The views from the top of the mountain Pico de Arieiro were quite literally breathtaking - the air was noticeable thin at 1810 metres above sea level and high above the clouds. Among the stops was a Poncha bar where you could experience the local drink, a rum factory with local rum and biscuit tasting and the village of Santana where you could see the traditional houses and enough time to have some lunch. As an added bonus, and not on the itinerary, we stopped at the Cristo Rei statue (a smaller version of Christ the Redeemer). Everywhere we looked on this trip there was stunning scenery.
We have had an amazing day out on the east side of Madeira and enjoyed beautiful views and heartstopping offroad driving with the guide tour Christiano ! Must have on a bucket list of Madeira visits
Vandaag een geweldige jeepsafari gedaan aan de noord- en oostkant van Madeira! Onze gids Cristiano was echt top — een super vriendelijke kerel met enorm veel kennis over het eiland. We hebben prachtige uitzichten gezien, veel geleerd en vooral genoten van de rit. Zeker een aanrader als je op Madeira bent! Today we had an amazing jeep safari exploring the north and east sides of Madeira! Our guide Cristiano was fantastic — a really friendly guy with loads of knowledge about the island. We saw stunning views, learned a lot, and had such a fun ride. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Madeira!
My daughter and I visited Madeira with two tours organized by the guys of Madeira Discovery. We were very happy. Punctual, professional, prepared and able to create a nice atmosphere among the tour participants. Really recommended.
