C'est un chef-d'œuvre de paysage de jardin avec une histoire de 400 ans et un exemple classique de conception de jardin royal Chinois. Le jardin dispose de pavillons tranquilles, d'étangs et de rocailles, permettant aux visiteurs de ressentir l'artisanat exquis du jardinage Chinois ancien.
Situé dans la vieille ville, le City God Temple est un lieu plein de charme traditionnel et d'ambiance locale animée. Le style architectural du temple est unique, et les vieilles rues environnantes sont bordées d'une variété de boutiques, où vous pourrez déguster des collations de Shanghai et acheter de l'artisanat traditionnel.
Zhujiajiao Water Town : connue sous le nom de « Venise de Shanghai », Zhujiajiao a une histoire qui remonte à la période des Trois Royaumes. La ville est caractérisée par d'anciens ponts de pierre, des canaux tranquilles et des jardins privés traditionnels. Les sites touristiques tels que le jardin Kezhi, le pont Fangsheng et le bureau de poste Great Qing sont à ne pas manquer.

First time exploring Shanghai on this day as a family and we could not be happier with our wonderful guide, Song, who was incredible in guiding us to Yu Garden as well as Zhujiajiao Water Town. Thankfully being a Thursday with the President visiting Shanghai, Yu Garden wasn't too busy. Song made sure we had great family photos and made the drive pleasant and fun, while sharing his knowledge about everything Shanghai to us. Highly recommend Song as your guide and if you're not a big group, he will accompany you through the whole tour. Booked through Klook, the tour even included dumplings as well as a refreshing lemon drink at the end. All fees taken care of through Klook. Would have been lost in both places and not as efficient if we went on our own, plus Zhujiajiao Water Town is an hour plus and change, worth the ride with a guide than make the mistake of going there solo. Since it was a record 100 degrees excessive heat, both places didn't have the normal crowded crowds so we were lucky in that aspect. Thank you Song for the wonderful tour, we had a wondeful first time. Highly recommended for first timer as first introduction to Shanghai.

Marco gave me a fantastic tour of Shanghai. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend doing it. In the morning, he took me on a tour of Old Shanghai and Yu Garden. Next, we headed to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, where I saw a beautiful river with boats on it. We had lunch there and ate some delicious dumplings and rice dumplings. Marco is a really good guide! After lunch, we parted ways so I could take the hop-on hop-off bus tour, which was really great! It’s perfect if you want to visit modern Shanghai on your own. Personally, I really enjoyed the bund, I think it’s a must-do. It was an amazing experience, and it's a great way to visit the city in just one day.

My experience was incredible and more than I hoped for! My tour guide Barry was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. With his guidance, I learned in-depth about the history of Yu Garden, the different influences and significance of the architecture and Chinese culture as a whole. As we walked through Yu garden, the temples and the water town, he shared histories and cultural knowledge about Shanghai and Chinese culture that I would have missed if I had explored these sights on my own!
