C'est une occasion unique de visiter tous ces endroits, ce ne sera pas possible par vous-mêmes. Je vous laisserai dans tous les monuments, vous attendrai après chaque visite, et je prendrai le prochain emplacement. Nous n'imposons pas de limite de temps pour la visite de chaque monument, cela dépendra de vous. Rien ne presse dans cette tournée, finir le temps n'existe pas. Nazaré est l'endroit où l'on a les plus grosses vagues du monde, parfois de 30 à 32 mètres de haut.
Le monastère de Santa Maria da Vitória, également appelé monastère de Batalha, est sans aucun doute l'une des plus belles œuvres de l'architecture portugaise et européenne. Cet ensemble architectural exceptionnel résulte de l'accomplissement d'une promesse faite par le roi D.João Ier, en remerciement pour la victoire d'Aljubarrota, bataille livrée le 14 août 1385, qui assure le trône et garantit l'indépendance du Portugal. Les travaux ont duré plus de 150 ans, à travers plusieurs phases de construction. Cette durée justifie l'existence, dans ses propositions artistiques, de solutions gothiques manuélines (prédominantes) et d'une brève note Renaissance. Plusieurs ajouts ont été introduits dans le projet initial, aboutissant à un vaste ensemble monastique qui comprend actuellement une église, deux cloîtres avec dépendances et deux panthéons royaux, la chapelle du fondateur et les chapelles imparfaites. Monument national, inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine mondial définie par l'UNESCO, depuis 1983.
Des belles grottes naturelles
Le sanctuaire de Fátima, intitulé par l'Église catholique comme sanctuaire de Notre-Dame du Rosaire de Fátima, est un sanctuaire marial dédié à Notre-Dame de Fátima, situé à Cova da Iria, dans la ville de Fátima. Le sanctuaire de Fátima est, par excellence, un lieu de pèlerinage chrétien et de dévotion catholique, préservant la mémoire des événements qui ont conduit à sa fondation, à savoir les apparitions de Notre-Dame aux trois bergers - Lúcia dos Santos, Francisco et Jacinta Marto - en 1917 Son ampleur et sa pertinence d'un point de vue religieux sont depuis longtemps largement reconnues, aux niveaux national et international. C'est également l'un des sanctuaires mariaux les plus importants au monde et une destination internationale majeure pour le tourisme religieux, recevant environ six millions de visiteurs par an. Il a été distingué par trois roses d'or papales et visité par les papes Paulo VI (1967), João Paulo II (1982, 1991 et 2000), Benoît XVI (2010) et Francisco (2017). Sa construction a commencé en 1919.

We used Antonio twice during our stay and found him to be excellent. He went over and above to assist us in every way. His tours were amazing showing us areas not on the typical tourist map. His vehicle was comfortable and he supplied water bottles all day. He was very generous with his time and best of all pointed out bathroom stops at every sight we visited. 10/10 for us!

We did a shorter tour, but that was the charm of it, that we took our time for each place we were at. Antonio was a great guide, and the organization was impeccable. Omg. The entire day was amazing. Antonio, our guide was so kind and knowledgeable. He made the day very special. The gardens with Buddha are just spectacular. The caves are unbelievable. I would highly highly highly recommend this tour with Antonio. Please request him.

We had a wonderful full day trip with Antonio. Due to forest fire warning in the area we couldn’t do the planned trip, but luckily Antonio has a plan b, which frankly seemed to be even better :)

The trip was so very well organized. Antonio gave us a choice of several stops that had different things to see and visit. Once we made the selections we were off. He took a lot of backroads which had stunning scenery and avoiding traffic jams. Lunch was delicious. Great restaurant with lovely servers! We visited Obidos and walked along the moors castle then took a stroll thru medieval streets. Off to batalha monastery. Beautiful cathedral. Visited Fatima sanctuary and final stop Nazare. This location has beautiful beaches. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend António!

This place is huge and a bit overwhelming. I like the fact that you can you for hourse just gazing at amazing stuff. No need for the train though. Also I would like more guidance - digital - when cruising.
Sintra roads were closed so we were able to reschedule different venues for the day. It was lovely to see other areas of the beautiful countryside

Thanks to Antonio, we were able to visit Nazaré and its surroundings in a very pleasant and comfortable way.
