La baie de Phang Nga se situe entre le sud de la Thaïlande et l'île de Phuket. Également connu sous le nom de parc national d'Ao Phang Nga, il se caractérise par des falaises calcaires et des formations rocheuses, ainsi que par des forêts de mangroves et de petites îles. James Bond Island est un monument célèbre de la baie de Phang Nga. Il a d'abord trouvé sa place sur la carte touristique internationale grâce à son rôle principal dans le film de James Bond, L'Homme au pistolet d'or. Un trait distinctif de cette célèbre baie est le nombre de falaises calcaires abruptes qui dépassent verticalement de l'eau vert émeraude.
Khao Phing Kan ou Ko Khao Phing Kan est une île de Thaïlande, dans la baie de Phang Nga au nord-est de Phuket. À environ 40 mètres des rives de Khao Phing Kan se trouve un îlot de 20 mètres de haut appelé Ko Ta Pu ou Ko Tapu. Les îles sont des tours karstiques calcaires et font partie du parc national d'Ao Phang Nga.
Ko Panyi, également connu sous le nom de Koh Panyee, est un village de pêcheurs de la province de Phang Nga, en Thaïlande, remarquable pour avoir été construit sur pilotis par des pêcheurs malais. La population se compose de 360 familles soit 1 685 personnes issues de deux familles musulmanes de marins de Java.

For our guide Boom, we would like to give 10+ stars. Super friendly, provided a lot of information and tips, while also giving us space. Thank you very much, dear Boom, for the many great pictures and the fun we had with you. We highly recommend the visit to the James Bond Island and the Monkey Temple. Great impressions. The "Floating City" was personally unusual for us, but it was interesting to see how the people live there.
We did the James Bond tour out to James Bond Island and honestly it ended up being one of the best parts of the trip. Marta was our guide and she really made the whole experience. Super easygoing but you could tell she knew her stuff. She shared cool bits about the movie The Man with the Golden Gun and the area without overloading us with info. It never felt like one of those stiff scripted tours. The timing of everything was spot on. We didn’t feel rushed at all and she was smart about when to move so we could avoid the worst of the crowds. She also pointed out great photo spots and took some really good pics for us too. What I appreciated most was how attentive she was. She kept checking in, made sure everyone was good, and just had a really warm friendly vibe that made the whole day more enjoyable. The place itself is obviously beautiful but having Marta as our guide made a big difference. Definitely recommend doing it this way if you can.

We did this tour the very next day after our arrival.... Remember to take your swim water shoes... Forgot ours and they sell them before you head off. Take a high sun factor as you are on the sea all day. All the islands were perfect and they give you snorkling gear off the boat. We enjoyed the Kohpaneye floating village with football pitch.... Seen with Greg Wallis earlier this year on TV.... The food for lunch there was fabulous and included in the trip... Hong Island was fabulous also..

Great communication prior to pick up to confirm arrangements. Punctual pick up and comfortable transport . Our guide Lydia was very friendly and kept us informed of the itinerary throughout the day . Thoroughly enjoyable trip and the sea canoeing is a particularly memorable experience

James Bond island, canoeing, and Kopanyee were very nice to experience. Longtail boat gets you everywhere but be sure to bring your earplugs. Longtail engines are very noisy and it would be recommended to ad this to the trip description to prevent hearing damage on any trip where these boats are involved (or the speedboats).

Was a great day trip to James Bond Island. Guide was wonderful. The lunch at the fishing village was awesome. Would highly recommend.

The whole trip was fabulous. Moo was our guide and was very informative. Pick up at the hotel was on time (we were a tiny bit late!) As it was the low season James Bond Island was very quiet. We had read reviews that it can be crazy busy but the timing was perfect. Weather excellent hence boat ride was very smooth. Canoe tour very pleasant. Got a little glass souvenir at the floating village where a lad was making them. Our 3 teenagers 16,15 and 13 had a blast.

Superb day despite the weather which turned to rain. Very friendly guide, but just a lack of rest, no snorkeling. Otherwise, the scenery is absolutely sublime
