Itinéraire
Le chauffeur peut venir chercher les invités depuis n'importe quel endroit ou aéroport de Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad et Ghaziabad. La durée du trajet est de 4 heures. (Pour la visite en train, l'heure de prise en charge est à 5 heures du matin et l'arrivée à Jaipur est à 10 heures.)
Arrivez à Jaipur et rencontrez votre guide. Le premier arrêt sera les principales attractions touristiques de Jaipur, à commencer par le fort de Jaigarh. Construit en 1726 par le Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, ce fort a été construit pour protéger le Fort d'Amber et est célèbre pour abriter le Jaivana Cannon, le plus grand canon à roues du monde.
Ensuite, vous visiterez Hawa Mahal, un magnifique palais construit en 1799 pour les dames royales. Magnifiquement réalisé en grès rouge et rose, il se trouve au bord du City Palace.
Faites une pause et savourez les saveurs de la délicieuse cuisine locale de la ville. Votre guide vous recommandera les restaurants où vous pourrez vivre une expérience culinaire authentique.
Le guide vous montrera ensuite le City Palace de Jaipur. Ici, vous pourrez explorer les jardins aux motifs magnifiques et l'architecture du bâtiment situé au centre de Jaipur. Initialement siège du Maharaja de Jaipur, certaines parties du palais sont désormais réservées à un musée.
Ensuite, vous visiterez le Jal Mahal, également connu sous le nom de Palais de l'Eau. Situé au milieu du lac Man Sagar, il est construit dans une architecture de style Rajput. Cette beauté architecturale du XVIIe siècle est l'endroit idéal pour les amoureux de la paix.
À la fin de votre visite, vous visiterez l'observatoire Jantar Mantar, qui abrite l'ensemble d'instruments monumentaux fixes le plus important et le mieux conservé construit en Inde dans la première moitié du XVIIIe siècle.
Après avoir visité tous ces sites merveilleux, commencez votre voyage de retour vers l'endroit souhaité à Delhi en voiture privée. Si vous optez pour la visite en train, le chauffeur vous déposera à la gare de Jaipur à 18 heures. Vers 23 heures, un autre chauffeur vous attendra à la gare de Delhi pour vous ramener à votre hôtel.

Lovely to see pink city and landmarks despite the monsoon rains at time. Driver was prompt and very good. Ali was kind and caring. Felt a bit rushed at times and he spoke very fast so not always easy to understand.

The City Palace was the highlight but I would NOT recommend doing Delhi-Jaipur as a daytrip especially in the summer. It ended up being an 18-hour day from the time I left the hotel in the morning and was dropped off at night. Instead I suggest they offer an overnight stay option. Ideally you would travel to Jaipur (either by train or car) in the afternoon/evening, stay overnight, see the sights in the morning when it’s cooler and head back to Delhi in the afternoon/evening. Also very important that you carry your water with you at all times when you’re out walking in the hot sun. They may tell you “Oh you can leave your stuff in the car” but you need to carry water with you at all times to avoid dehydration. Also be very assertive if you need to go back to the car or end a segment early due to the heat. For example the fort is a lot of outside walking and they should give you the option to cut some of it out if it’s too hot but they don’t do that.
