Nous avons la passion de découvrir à pied les trésors historiques moins connus de cette ville unique. Notre visite commence par l'imposante tour de Galata qui surplombe les beautés du Bosphore et de la vieille ville. Nous vous emmenons hors des principaux sentiers touristiques vers Fener, Balat et Ayvansaray multiculturels. Ce sont les vieux quartiers d'Istanbul où Constantinople se termine officiellement, ce qui signifie que nous admirons les remparts byzantins survivants et découvrons des églises historiques, des mosquées, des synagogues, des maisons traditionnelles et même les vestiges d'un palais. Terminez notre visite par un voyage relaxant en ferry le long de la Corne d'Or.

Nous verrons le grand panorama d'Istanbul du haut de cette tour. L'un des sites les plus distinctifs de la ville, cette grande fortification datant de 1348 a été érigée par les Italiens génois.

À l'époque ottomane, Beyoğlu (alors connu sous le nom de Pera) était le quartier européen d'Istanbul. Abritant des ambassades et des centres commerciaux, ainsi que de belles maisons d'appartements du XIXe siècle, de style parisien.
Le pont à bascule qui enjambe la Corne d'Or offre à la fois un lien réel et symbolique entre deux parties importantes d'Istanbul.
Halic (Golden Horn) signifie que l'entrée en anglais sépare les anciennes et les nouvelles sections d'Istanbul. La vue sur ce plan d'eau est magnifique, surtout à l'aube ou au crépuscule
Le Patriarcat œcuménique est reconnu comme le centre spirituel (essentiellement le «Vatican») des chrétiens orthodoxes orientaux.
Les rues colorées de Fener et Balat vous attendent. On pourrait décrire les quartiers combinés d'Ayvansaray, de Balat et de Fener comme une chronique miniature de l'époque byzantine, ottomane et moderne. Ces rues ont accueilli les empires les plus influents avec leurs monuments; abritait une mosaïque de communautés.
Il s'agit d'une curieuse église néo-gothique peinte en blanc et composée de sections en fonte. Construit ou devrait dire «coulé» à Vienne en 1896 et transporté jusqu'à Istanbul.

Les murs de Constantinople étaient les plus grandes fortifications de l'époque médiévale. Avec diverses tours et portes, de grandes sections sont encore plus ou moins intactes aujourd'hui.
La ville historique d'Istanbul, la seule ville au monde située sur deux continents, était la capitale de trois grands empires ; Empire romain, byzantin et ottoman.
Karaköy est l'un des quartiers les plus anciens et les plus historiques de la ville, et est aujourd'hui un important centre commercial et une plaque tournante des transports.

Kim was exceptional, super friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend to anyone who want too see and experience some out of the beaten path. It was worth it. Kim even put a special touch and stopped to get tea and baklava. Yummy. Very special trip.
The tour was fantastic—our guide Erol was extremely knowledgeable about historic facts and dates, explaining how much the city has changed while taking us to great spots for photos. Travelling by tram and ferry was smooth because he had everything perfectly organised, and we even stopped to enjoy some delicious sweets along the way. Even though it was low season and we were the only ones on the tour, he never rushed; he took his time, explained everything in detail, and made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. The tour was fantastic, especially thanks to our guide Ergil, who was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We began at the Galata Tower, enjoying a beautiful panoramic view of Istanbul. Then we explored the historic neighborhoods of Balat and Fener, full of colorful streets and rich multicultural history. A very pleasant walk combining great views, culture, and authentic local atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Loved the Galata Tower and its fascinating history. Erol gave us a great deal of interesting information about the entire area including its history and its architecture. We also stopped for some delicious sweets. Erol is a great guide. He spoke so passionately and knowledgeably about the area and answered all our questions very thoroughly. Some of the streets were rather steep, which made walking a little difficult at times but Erol was very thoughtful and helpful. Thank you for an interesting tour.
