Ensuite, vous essayerez un pide fait à la main tout en apprenant comment ils sont fabriqués et vous regarderez les chefs préparer le pide sous vos yeux. Vous découvrirez notre délicieux plat secret.
Vous découvrirez la vie quotidienne des habitants, l'histoire du café turc et l'histoire fascinante de notre cuisine et de notre culture tout en buvant votre café et votre vin turcs.
Vous traverserez le marché local de Kadıköy, goûterez un très ancien plat traditionnel turc appelé Lahmacun et découvrirez l'histoire de ce plat et pourquoi il est important pour les locaux.
Vous vous promènerez dans la rue des antiquaires, découvrirez la rue des parapluies et la rue des bars et découvrirez la culture des bars à Kadıköy. Vous vous perdrez comme les locaux dans les ruelles de la ville. Vous découvrirez la rue principale avec le tramway et le célèbre point de rendez-vous de Kadıköy.

This was such a cool way to explore the Anatolian side of Istanbul! Jeremy took us to places I know we never could have discovered on our own. There was a lovely range from simple to fancy foods/locations, and we learned a lot. Interacting with a friendly local was great. I’ll be trying to recreate these dishes at home until the day we make it back. Thank you Jeremy!!

Melis was absolutely amazing. She had great knowledge of all the spots we visited and kept me fascinated the whole time. There was plenty of food and drink, so much that I had to take some back to the hotel for dinner, but she was also able to recommend a variety of other spots to try during my visit. Melis greeted us with her warm smile and shared with us many stories to accompany our delicious tastings. We discovered a new part of the city( Kadikoy on the Asian side) which is a food and drink destination. Our favourite stop was midway when we sat in the sunshine at a gorgeous wine bar courtyard and tasted wine and Turkish coffee. Melis taught us how to read the coffee grinds and the shared historical and cultural significance of coffee in Turkiye. This tour is a must for everyone who loves tasting local foods, seeing the sights and learning the culture with a local!

Cold day in Istanbul; we were the only people to sign up and had Jeremy to ourselves. He was knowledgeable and super great to talk with while we were walking and eating. If you want to learn about authentic Turkish food, traditions and every day life of locals this tour with Melis is a must do !! Food was amazing, we learned a lot of new things about Turkey and the highlight was definitely the Wine garden and Turkish coffee fortune telling. We had a wonderful food tour with our lovely guide Melis! We spent a lovely day on the asian side of Istanbul strolling around the streets and discovering small local restaurants.
