Isla Mujeres, voyage privé au coucher du soleil à Cancún

When we visit and/or stay at Isla Mujeres we always use Isla Fun Tours for transfer service and tours. The service is consistent and the guides are fun, dependable and professional. This particular trip was a private sunset cruise round trip from Cancun area (Costa Mujeres) to Isla Mujeres with our daughter and son in law. Isla Fun Tours arranged car transportation to/from the boat port. Daniel and Captain Eric met us at the boat port and gave us a personalized trip that was unforgettable - my favorite part of our vacation! It was very clear how much both gentlemen love their home on Isla Mujeres and they are both happy to share it with everyone! They were both so knowledgeable about the island and we saw stingrays and turtles during our tour - so incredible! After touring the beautiful waters along the island we parked at Playa Norte to swim, play and relax together as a family! We upgraded to the ceviche, fish tacos and guacamole dinner so we could eat and enjoy the sunset. We would all do this again and again! It was such a fun and memorable experience! Boat was clean, captain and crew was friendly, tour around island just ok not much what to see, sunset just ok, diving was great - safe and a lot of fishes to see.

Only reason why I gave 2 stars was because the staff was absolutely great! Don’t want to knock them in anyway, they were attentive of our every request. But the boat was not what was pictured and for the price, it wasn’t worth it. Picture taking was limited because of the type of boat that was utilized. Transparency goes a long way and Viator should get more accurate details of what were actually booking.

The guides were great, the snorkeling was amazing especially for beginners. They could improve on the snacks maybe add some cheese.

We booked a private Sunset tour and although it was meant to happen earlier in our holiday we ended up doing it at the end due to high winds. We spent over 3.5 hours with the guys from Isla tours. We weren’t interested in snorkelling so they took along the shoreline from South to North and then up through the marinas as we like to see the boats. The weather was perfect as was the service and commentary we got during our trip. Would highly recommend

It is a smaller boat so do not book if you want a lot of space. For us, it was a perfect way to enjoy the sunset. The crew was amazing and easy. They let us choose exactly what would make us happy. Great way to spend an evening.

This was an amazing experience! The company picked us up in a private vehicle from our resort and transported us to and from the marina. Our boat was so clean and we had the best time! Eric, Vladimir, and Javier were top notch. They were very professional and fun. We would absolutely book this anytime in Cancun! The ceviche Eric made was probably our favorite meal of the weekend.

Felipe and Lolo were fantastic hosts! Felipe was very knowledgeable about the area and ensure our snorkeling experience was great. We enjoyed different charcuterie meats and crackers, while waters and beers were offered regularly. It was a great excursion for a great price.

Overall a great experience because it’s a private tour. Our captain added a little fishing to the middle of our trip where he drove in circles with two poles hanging off the back trolling the waters where we got to reel in a couple little Mackerel. You start off by stopping at a decent snorkel spot where you see quite a few fish. Then ended with the sunset parked at North Beach. Honestly, the snorkel and minimal fishing experience is what we paid for as you can see the sunset from North Beach on your own. The snacks were limited as they only provided 2 bags of chips and a container of pineapple for our party of 8 adults. They did provide a big cooler of beer and water!
