It was so much fun. The guide was good and I was glad to see a variety of fish, and the cospa was very good.

Though most of them did not speak English, the staff were all wonderful - from the lady driver getting us indemnity forms, to the changing to wet suits, the boat captain to our instructors, they were all great in briefing us what's up next. Seeing our little ones, Diego our instructor guided us around using the donut float. Saw plenty fishes like the pretty bright green parrotfish and cute blue little damsels. Sent us the pretty photos and videos (including those of us that he dove down to snap!) by end of the day. Diego spoke English and briefed all of us foreigners well. Thank God for good weather that we got to land on Phantom Island, quite cool to see waves rolling in every direction of the roughly 80m by 10m tiny island. After Phantom Island and admiring the underwater world near Taketomi Island, they brought us back to the pier right by the Port Terminal. Tips: 1) Shower: with limited English and not briefed on who's taking which tour (we're all on the same bus), the driver will just ask if you prefer to drop off at your hotel or the port. Thank God another group of girls asked for shower so we followed, and they dropped us off at the free shower facility in town! Bring your own toiletries. Hair dryer provided too. Short walking distance to the Port Terminal for our boat to Taketomi. 2) Taketomi Island: They've many different combos of tours, so sometimes the guides might not remember who's taking which combo. So you gotta remember to ask them for the Taketomi boat tickets. Take note it's not guided, do your own research of what's nice, and you're supposed to go for your own lunch after they dropped you off (we got A&W near the Port!) and then take the boat there by yourself. Just take note of the timing of the boat ride there (1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm) and the return ride back (5:30pm).

This was a fun experience! It was crowded on the boat but once we got to snorkel site and phantom island you’re able to spilt off and experience the location yourself. For taketomi island, all you get is a round trip ferry ticket so make sure you plan accordingly as there’s no guidance associated with this portion. Overall very fun and memorable! 5/5 stars!

We booked the 1:30 PM Ishigaki Phantom Island Snorkeling & Taketomi Island Sightseeing tour, but it’s important to know that we still had to be at the port by 8:00 AM in order to take the ferry over to Taketomi Island on our own before meeting the snorkeling crew later in the day. Honestly, it ended up being the perfect way to spend the morning. While exploring Taketomi Island, we did the traditional water buffalo cart tour through the village, rented bikes to ride around the island, and spent time at beautiful Kondoi Beach (also called Star Beach). The island is absolutely stunning and has such a relaxing atmosphere. We then met back up with the original tour crew around 1:10 PM and headed out for the snorkeling portion of the trip. The boat ride itself was gorgeous, and the snorkeling spot was incredible with crystal clear water and amazing scenery. Seeing Phantom Island in person was definitely a highlight of our trip to Okinawa. Our tour guide, Akari, was fantastic throughout the experience — friendly, organized, and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Overall, this tour ended up being a perfect combination of sightseeing, relaxation, and adventure. Highly recommend if you want to experience both Taketomi Island and the beauty of Phantom Island in one day!

This is a great excursion to get a little of many things. Aoi was an awesome guide and we highly recommend! The snorkeling at the coral was amazing and we saw many fish and even a sea snake. The visit to phantom island was very fun and there was plenty of time to enjoy it. Getting tickets to Taketomi Island was nice and they can be used anytime so it is very convenient. Our family enjoyed this very much!

The phantom island is no longer accessible and has been changed to Blue Cave Snorkeling, The ocean was so beautiful, I could swim while looking at all kinds of fish, and the instructors taught me carefully as I swam, and I had a great time snorkeling!!

The instructors were very kind and pleasant. It was a good memory.

We were actually planning to go to Phantom Island, but unfortunately it was a snorkeling trip around Ishigaki Island, but thanks to our leader, it was a lot of fun! We had a big laugh with the marks on our foreheads and the water in our goggles, but it was fun 😂 We saw Nemo safely°�🐠 I'm coming to Ishigaki Island to snorkel again! And please drive the transfer softly lol

It was a lot of fun. I met Nemo. Due to the weather, the planned plan to go to the Phantom Island was cancelled, but they suggested an alternative plan to go to the Blue Cave and we went to the Blue Cave! The Blue Cave was fun! It was great. The weather was good, the waves were calm… I was so happy to see the instructor, Shibata, who followed us, taking care of everyone! Nemo, who couldn’t see it in the back of the road… I had given up, but he stopped on the way home, and we did! It was cute♡ There were two of them! The dive we did in front of the cave… we couldn’t fly as much as we thought we would… lol It was the best memory of my trip to Ishigaki Island! Thank you very much. I want to recommend it to everyone ✨ I would love to join the tour if I had the chance again!
