Lots to see and learn, very informative. A lovely way to spend a few hours by the water. A good experience for all.

We visited the Intrepid Museum on September 3rd with the family and had an absolutely amazing experience. The exhibits are incredible, and there was something for every one of us, from the aircraft carrier deck to the space shuttle. It is one of those places where the kids are wide-eyed the whole time and the adults are just as impressed. But what made the day truly special was Nicolas at the front desk. He was warm, friendly, and genuinely happy to welcome us. My son is also named Nicolas, and the two of them looked so much alike it was uncanny. Nicolas laughed and said, "It's like looking into a mirror," and my son absolutely loved it. He talked about it for the rest of the day. That small, kind moment turned a great visit into an unforgettable one. Nicolas, if you ever see this, we just wanted to say hi and thank you. We didn't take a picture, but we won't forget you. You made a family's day. Kudos to you and to the whole Intrepid team. Five stars, and we will definitely be back. Wow!!! So informational and interesting!! My entire family loved this educational and well displayed museum! Touring this ship was worth every penny! We had not planned to do this excursion and so very glad we did!!

My son is an aerospace engineer and he absolutely loved this. We enjoyed seeing all of it. Would have been nice to see the Concorde cockpit!!

The Intrepid Museum completely exceeded my expectations. We were able to get tickets through Culture Pass from the New York Public Library, which made an already great experience even better. There is an incredible amount to see here. The flight deck is packed with different aircraft, and seeing a Concorde supersonic jet up close was a definite highlight. The exhibits throughout the museum are excellent, including an interactive video experience with immersive elements that was really well done. Being on the Intrepid itself is fascinating, and you also get some fantastic views of the New York City skyline from the deck. There are good cafes inside as well, so it’s easy to spend several hours exploring without needing to leave. I could have spent much more time here. Lots to see, lots to do, and far more interesting and extensive than I expected. A really fun day and definitely worth visiting.

This was a brilliant experience. How often do you get to step foot on a WW2 aircraft carrier? This history of the ship was probably more interesting than the aircraft on display, but that’s no criticism. Looking around the inner workings of the ship was fascinating and eating on board was decent value (for America) and my hot dog was okay. This is well worth a visit.

The size of the aircraft carrier was huge with so much to explore. For anyone who is interested in the sea and planes, this is a good visit to do.

A very good experience to be able to experience the scale of a military aircraft carrier, in my life I could never have an experience like this, it is worth it whether you are military personnel or not, the history it contains and everything it offers is truly surprising. It also has a space shuttle inside and do not miss doing the space simulator there because it is something incredible.
