Il s'agit d'une visite privée, conçue pour le touriste régulier qui vient à Varanasi pour la première fois et qui souhaite découvrir le mode de vie en Inde avec l'hindouisme et le bouddhisme. Il comprend une promenade en bateau le matin à l'aube suivie d'une promenade dans la vieille ville, la visite de Sarnath [le lieu de naissance du bouddhisme] et une promenade en bateau en soirée suivie de Ganga Aarti.Il comprendra : Cette excursion comprend deux pauses, une après la visite en bateau du matin pour le petit-déjeuner et une autre après la visite de Sarnath pour le déjeuner. Remarque : Cette visite peut également se faire en deux jours. Comme le premier jour, commencez l'après-midi par la visite de Sarnath ou le soir, commencez par la soirée Ganga Aarti et le lendemain matin, promenade en bateau suivie d'une promenade dans la vieille ville et après le petit-déjeuner, visite de Sarnath.

Sarnath : Sarnath à Varanasi, est l'endroit où Bouddha a choisi de prononcer son premier sermon. Cela fait de Sarnath l'un des lieux bouddhistes les plus vénérés. Il existe de nombreux monuments et édifices bouddhistes à Sarnath. Certains des monuments bouddhistes importants de Sarnath sont le stupa Dhamekha, le stupa Dharmarajika et le stupa Chaukhandi et les monastères et temples de différentes écoles de bouddhisme du Japon, de Chine, de Thaïlande, de Birmanie et autres. La société bouddhiste indienne appelée Mahabodhi Society entretient un parc autour du temple de Bouddha. Le temple Mahabodhi dans le parc possède une relique dentaire du Bouddha. Il y a aussi une vaste étendue de ruines antiques à Sarnath. Plusieurs structures bouddhistes ont été élevées à Sarnath entre le 3ème siècle avant JC et le 11ème siècle après JC, et aujourd'hui, il présente les ruines les plus précieuses parmi les endroits sur la piste bouddhiste. Le pilier de la capitale du lion d'Ashoka à Sarnath est l'emblème national de l'Inde, qui est exposé dans le musée archéologique de Sarnath.
Les piliers d'Ashoka sont une série de colonnes dispersées dans tout le sous-continent indien, érigées ou du moins porteuses d'édits édictés par l'empereur Mauryan Ashoka durant son règne au 3ème siècle avant notre ère.

Had an excellent one day tour - This is really worth every penny. Mr. Indrajeet who manages this was very helpful in arranging additional things that we wanted. We were collected from out hotel at 5:30 by Mr Vinit Pandey for firstly a boat ride on the Ganges then spent the remainder of the day visiting the various locations on the agenda. Finishing with another boar ride in the evening which included viewing of the funeral pyres on the ghats on the banks of the Ganges. Found Mr Pandey to a a knowledgeable guide and looked after us very well for the whole day. Recommended.

We only had one day in Varanasi and wanted to see Hindu and Buddhist sites. This was perfect to see everything with a very knowledgeable tour guide.
This was our first trip to Varanasi, and due to flooding on the ghats, our hotel reservation was canceled. We reached out to Mr. Indrajeet for assistance, and even though it wasn't part of our tour package, he went above and beyond to recommend the best area for us to stay, taking into account my mother-in-law’s ankle issues, which made it difficult for her to walk for extended periods. His guidance was spot on. The evening Ganga Aarti and the boat ride were also unforgettable highlights of our trip.

We had a fantastic day exploring Varanasi with our expert guide Vinod. It started in the morning at sunrise on the River, and the guide accommodated all of our choices on activities for the day and scheduling. We ended the day at the very peaceful Sarnath temple ruins. Recommend!

An excellent day. Starting early, I was greeted by Vinod my guide for the day. I was first taken on a boat trip on the Ganga to see the sunrise and many of the Ghats. After a break for breakfast, we visited Sarnath, where I had the history of Buddha explained and taken to the museum and the Stupa which marks where Buddha gave his first Sermon. After a break for lunch I was taken to the Manikarnika Ghat, where the cremation process from death was explained. Finally the Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat for a great finally to the day. Vinod is very knowledgeable and informed me about all we saw and answered all of my questions.
