Our guide Marianne was knowledgeable , friendly and accommodating. She gave a very comprehensive tour of the Old City. We truly enjoyed the tour and learned so much.
Had a wonderful tour of historic sites in Philly with our enthusiastic guide, Jen. She was very knowledgeable, we learned a lot and she kept our interest for the entire tour. She is a proud Philadelphian and made us appreciate all the history that is here. Definitely highly recommend this to any visitor to Philly.
Please let me clarify that our guide was lovely - it was the tour itself that was poor. We started at the Betsy Ross house as the meeting point. We looked at the outside, were told it wasn't included and so we walked to Christ Church. When we arrived we were told they weren't open yet but we could come back later if we wanted. Same thing with the Benjamin Franklin cemetary. We eventually made our way to Independence Hall to find out that we needed a reservation through the National Parks office. It was 12:30pm and all time slots were sold out for the day. I essentially paid $90 a piece to go into the Carpenter's Building which is FREE. I use viator for every country/city that I visit. The lack of route planning and pre-communication of requirements was unacceptable.
We had a great time exploring Philadelphia with Joseph! He was knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour fun. Thank you very much

We had a really great tour with Jenn. She is so knowledgeable - like a walking encyclopedia of information. We thought the tour was the perfect length and it covered a lot of sites in one tour. Thanks to Jenn for all the recommendations and help planning the rest of our time in Philly!

Jenn led us on an awesome walking tour of Philly which included inside a couple historic sites. Very informative! Nowadays whenever we go on vacation, we always look for Tours By Foot.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed exploring Philly with Jenn. We appreciate your loyalty and look forward to welcoming you on more Tours by Foot adventures!
With this tour, I saw so many historically significant things that my tour guide was able to educate me about that I could not have learned just walking the sites alone. I was the only one scheduled for this tour, so I received a lot of one-on-one commentary and extra time to take photos, which I appreciated. We went over our tour time, but my guide, Jen, also the company's owner, didn't care and urged me to explore. I ended up leaving the tour feeling like a friend and knowing so much more about the history of Philly and our country as a whole. Thank you for caring and taking the time to explore with me.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear you had such a personalized and enriching experience with Jen. Your appreciation means a lot, and we're glad you left the tour feeling like a friend. We hope to welcome you back on another adventure soon!

I really enjoyed my walking tour yesterday with Tours by Foot. Even though it was the coldest day of the year so far, walking around and learning about Philly proved to be one of the highlights of my day. I learned a lot in the 2 hour tour. It started at 10:30 am at Betsey Ross' house and ended at the Liberty Bell around 12:30 pm. The group was small and intimate, which was nice and allowed for our guide to answer all our questions and have conversations with each of us as we walked. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and, as this was my first time in Philly, I would definitely be back and do the tour again, when it's warmer.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad to hear that, despite the chilly weather, you had such an enjoyable time on the tour. We're glad you learned a lot and appreciated the intimate group setting. We look forward to welcoming you back for another tour when it's a bit warmer!
