My daughter and I just finished the 4D/3N Inca Jungle Trek with Vidal Expeditions and had an amazing experience from booking to the end of trip. Pickup in Cusco, Hotel Accommodations, Meals and our train/private car back to Cusco all worked out perfectly with our jammed packed schedule. Chino was our guide and was amazing, we talked about Peru life in comparison to life in the US over meals, he took into account my being out of shape and the high altitude allowing us to shift some of the activities for the Day 2 and Day 3 to still make it enjoyable. The experience and his knowledge up at Machu Picchu was perfect to finish our last day in Peru where he sent us off with a hug and plans to send us pictures that he took for us. Would highly recommend.
We had a unique experience during the hike to Machu Picchu through the jungle. It was 4 days combined with different activities such as biking, canoeing, hiking, zip-lining, and guided tours in Machu Picchu. Our guide Urbano was incredible, always attentive and very kind. The equipment was among the best, the lodges were clean and well-located. The agency organized everything to ensure a good experience. The staff was very attentive and always willing to help. I am very grateful for everything offered; I will gladly recommend it to my friends. Greetings,
We used Vidal Expeditions for our trip to Machu Pichu. Amaru was our guide and he made it an unforgettable trip. We fully enjoyed the mountain biking, the white water rafting, the ziplining (monkey style position :-D ) and of course the hiking. Amaru's company, knowledge and sense of humour was top class and on top we were really impressed with some of the accomodation and local restaurants selected. Really worth mentioning was the Bella Victoria Ecolodge and the Kat Café in Santa Teresa was impressive. Happy to give our best recommendations to Vidal for this awesome expedition.
We have done the Inca Jungle Trail with Vidal Expeditions, it was four amazing days with biking, rafting, hiking, zip lining and exploring Machu Picchu. One of the best journey I ever had. The company included everything for us, from the extra activities to the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu (Circuit 2). Our guide was very knowledgeable, he always looked after us. The food was great and varied. I am very happy to had chosen the Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu with VE and his team. 100% recommended!
We had a great 3 day 2 night and private experience at the jungle trek to machu picchu with this well organized company. Thank you
What a great time we had on the Inca Jungle trail to Machu Picchu. It was four days with a variety of adventures of what we did on the way to Machu Picchu. The tour started with mountain biking, descending from 4,300 meters towards the high jungle, passing stunning landscapes, followed by water rafting. Day two was mostly hiking in the forest and some stops in the houses of local families where we learned about the coffee farms and cacao trees. We finished the hike at the thermal baths. Well deserved! Day three we flew in the zip line and hiked to Aguas Calientes town, this section was kind of pretty walk following the train track. Day four, the most important day, we had a guided tour in Machu Picchu. We had the first schedule for the entrance and enjoyed a magical sunrise moment in Machu Picchu, explored the highlights and learned about the history. I highly recommend the Inca Jungle Trail and what a great way to do it with Vidal Expeditions, all included in your package.
I did the Inca Jungle Trek with Vidal Expeditions last week of May. Our guide was Francisco who was excellent, he provided us with all the information that we needed before, during and after the tour. Always smiling and very patient. Biking tour during the first day were awesome, we descended around 38km from the Andes mountains to the lush forest, and the views are breathtaking. Rafting in Santa Maria was great with professional instructors, for my first time it was great experience. We hiked for several hours on the second day that allowed us to visit and learn from the locals who showed us their coffee farming culture, Francisco told us the Inca history. Zip-line on the third day also was fun, and the hike beside the train tracks was gorgeous. We visited Machu Picchu in the final day through the circuit 2 and had great time. Definitely the service was more than I expected. Traveling alone is a big complication to finding a group for this tour, but thanks to Vidal Expeditions and Francisco I had a great time with the group along the Inca Jungle Trek, this was my favourite tour in South America. .
A wonderful tour to Machu Picchu! We had the pleasure of being led by Vidal, who is the owner of this company. He is an excellent guide and friend who helped us organise all the details for our tour. We decided on the Inca Jungle Trail because this was a combination of different activities such as mountain biking, water rafting, hiking, and zip-lining. Vidal Expeditions did a great job providing us with what they had offered us. Pick up from the hotel on the first day; transportation, bike, and equipment were provided in good condition; raf and zip were very safe with professional instructors; our accommodations were always private and with a bathroom; food along the tour was varied and with local ingredients. All included services were provided during this tour: tickets, a guide, transportation, extra activities, and a train ticket. It was more than what I expected. Honestly, Vidal Expeditions offered great service during this four-day trip. Highly recommended!!
Dear 571steffanied, Thank you very much for your feedback, we are happy that you had great time along the Inca Jungle tour to Machu Picchu with our team. Hopefully to see you again in Peru. Regards,
The Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu was one of my favorite tours in Cusco. From the beginning to the end, it was well organized, especially the guide, Urbano, making this an experience of a lifetime. We took the full package, which includes the extra activities rafting and ziplining; these were very fun. We did biking from the high altitude to the lush forest, where the landscapes changed drastically from dry and cold mountains to want and rainforest. Rafting was great even for me, who doesn't know how to swim, but the guides were very professional. Hiking for several hours in the forest was also great; it was not a very demanding hike due to the many stops on the way. Zipline and Machu Picchu were great; we had the best guide with us who took incredible photos on the way and provided such great information. Highly recommend this tour to everyone and get Urbano as your guide.
Dear friend, Thank you very much for your positive feedback, the entire VE team is happy to know you had nice time hiking to Machu Picchu. Hopefully to see you somewhere around the world. All the best!
We chose the Inca Jungle tour with TERRA QUECHUA and it was an excellent choice. From the exciting biking down the mountains to the rafting and ziplining adventures, every part of the trip was full of excitement and discovery. The jungle hike was an educational experience, with a guide who shared his knowledge of the local fauna and flora. We really enjoyed the natural hot springs, which allowed us to relax after days full of activities. The visit to Machu Picchu was the highlight of the trip, leaving us with unforgettable memories.
