Itinéraire
Cette excursion d'une journée nous permettra de visiter la partie nord de l'île de Chiloé. Après avoir navigué sur le canal de Chacao pendant 30 minutes, en observant une grande variété d'oiseaux et d'otaries, nous arriverons à la ville de Chacao. Nous nous dirigerons vers Ancud, puis nous irons à 28 km au sud-ouest d'Ancud pour visiter le monument naturel Les îles Puñihuil est une zone sauvage protégée par l'Etat, où les pêcheurs ont rejoint et transformé le tourisme en menant des visites guidées, des services de navigation et des restaurants. Pour voir une colonie de manchots de Humboldt et de Magellan, il est nécessaire de prendre un bateau (navigation non incluse) le long de la côte de l'océan Pacifique. Nous continuerons à visiter l'île en passant par une longue plage solitaire où nous verrons l'océan dans toute sa splendeur. A notre retour nous visiterons la deuxième plus peuplée de Chiloé, la ville d'Ancud où nous visiterons sa place, le marché, la foire artisanale, la fondation des amis des églises et le célèbre fort San Antonio.

Chiloe Island is off the coast of the mainland about 15 miles. The island is HUGE at 90 miles long and 45 miles wide. Once on the island all the features of the mainland with town / farm / businesses, make you think you are on the mainland. We observe a lot of the wildlife existing way south on the content. There, we board small boats via a loading contraption (keep our feet dry) to a boat located just off the beach

It was a great and very informative trip. Ingrid is super knowledgeable guide - she probably knows all the birds in that island and Orland is a super careful driver. Penguins are super great part of the trip. And churches … yes in case of any doubts Ingrid would tell you all you need to know. Fantastic experience. Our kids loved it!
Very good tour, our guide took us to Chiloe island. It started raining we took a scenic route to Andy’s. There we toured a church and a museum. The penguin tour got cancelled but we still went to the beach where we take the boat to see the Penguins and there on the rocks we did see many of them. Overall both the guide and the driver showed us a great time despite the bad weather. Thanks so much!
