Fondée en 1591 après J.-C. par Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah, les célèbres attractions touristiques du monde. Admirez l'icône mondiale d'Hyderabad, située stratégiquement au milieu de deux autres structures populaires, le célèbre Laad Bazaar à l'ouest et la mosquée de La Mecque ornée de granit au sud-ouest.
Laad Bazaar ou Choodia Bazaar est un marché célèbre et historique connu pour ses souvenirs de shopping et surtout, les bracelets. C'est certainement l'un des plus anciens marchés d'Hyderabad et suscite des souvenirs de son passé étincelant de bazar nuptial étincelant et coloré.
Gulzar Houz a été construit à 350 pieds à égale distance du Char Kaman qui l'entoure. Au départ, il était 12 côtés puis il est devenu octogonal et aujourd'hui, il semble presque circulaire. C'était un réservoir d'eau de forme octogonale fait pour étancher la soif des soldats, des commerçants et des voyageurs.
Char Kaman - signifiant quatre portes. Après l'achèvement de Charminar, à environ 75m pieds au nord, quatre arches élevées connues sous le nom de Char Kaman ont été construites en 1592 par le fondateur avec Gulzar Houz. Les noms des quatre arches sont Charminar Kaman, Machli Kaman, Kali Kaman et Sher-e-Batil-Ki-Kaman. Les arches mesurent cinquante pieds de haut, et délimitent une place ouverte, devant laquelle existait autrefois un palais Qutb Shahi
Pathar Gatti a été construit sous le règne du dernier Nizam de l'État d'Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan en 1911. Comme le bâtiment a été construit en pierre ou en Pathar, il a été nommé Pathargatti. Il a été conçu par le célèbre ingénieur Vishveshwaraiah dans un style architectural typiquement osmanien.
An Ashurkhana est un lieu de deuil pour les musulmans chiites à l'Achoura, le 10e jour de Muharram. Créé par Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah en 1594. En conséquence, la ville compte de nombreux Ashurkhanas, après avoir achevé le Charminar pour marquer la nouvelle ville d'Hyderabad en 1591. Le décor de tuiles-mosaïques aux couleurs brillantes a été achevé sous Abdullah Qutb Shah en 1611. Après la conquête moghole d'Hyderabad, dans une démonstration de sectarisme sunnite, Aurangzeb l'utilise comme écurie à chevaux pour la cavalerie moghole.
Les tombes Qutub Shahi sont une série de tombes et mosquées islamiques construites par les différents rois de la dynastie Qutub Shahi, situées dans le Ibrahim Bagh, à proximité du célèbre fort de Golconda à Hyderabad, dans le district d'Hyderabad de l'État du Telangana, en Inde.
Le fort de Golconda était à l'origine connu sous le nom de Mankal, et construit au sommet d'une colline en 1143. C'était à l'origine un fort de boue sous le règne de Rajah de Warangal. Plus tard, elle a été fortifiée entre le XIVe et le XVIIe siècle par les sultans bahmanais puis la dynastie régnante des Qutub Shahi. Golconda était la capitale principale des rois Qutub Shahi. Le fort intérieur contient des ruines de palais, de mosquées et un pavillon au sommet d’une colline, qui s’élève à environ 130 mètres de haut et donne une vue d’ensemble sur d’autres bâtiments. Elle s’appelait initialement Shepherd’s Hill, c’est-à-dire Golla Konda en télougou alors que selon la légende, sur cette colline rocheuse, un garçon berger était tombé sur une idole et l’information était transmise au roi Kakatiya au pouvoir à cette époque. Le roi a construit un fort de boue autour de ce lieu saint et après 200 ans, les dirigeants bahamanis ont pris possession de l'endroit. Plus tard, les rois Qutub Shahi ont converti cela en un fort de granit massif s'étendant sur 5 km de circonférence.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic experience exploring Hyderabad with our guide, Mohammed Ruknuddin. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the city’s rich history and culture. Mohammed brought each site to life with fascinating stories and historical insights, making places like Charminar, Golconda Fort, and the city’s other landmarks even more memorable. He was patient, attentive, and always happy to answer questions, while also ensuring the tour moved at a comfortable pace. The tour was well organized and gave us a wonderful introduction to Hyderabad’s heritage, architecture, and local traditions. Thanks to his expertise, we gained a much deeper appreciation for the city than we would have on our own. I highly recommend Mohammed Ruknuddin and this tour to anyone visiting Hyderabad. As a solo traveler visiting Hyderabad on business, I made it a point to carve out one full day to see the city’s top attractions, including Golconda Fort, Charminar, Laad Bazaar, and Chowmahalla Palace. I found this private full‑day guided tour, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. I was able to coordinate easily with Mr. Matta and our driver for hotel pickup and drop‑off, which was invaluable. With India’s traffic—and my limited international travel experience—having everything arranged made me feel comfortable and safe from the start. India is wonderfully different from the U.S., but it can feel intimidating at first, and this tour removed that stress entirely. Golconda Fort absolutely lived up to the hype, and Mr. Matta was incredibly patient and encouraging during the long climb up the steps. His knowledge and calm demeanor made the experience both enjoyable and manageable. Charminar and Laad Bazaar were unforgettable—the atmosphere, the energy, the shopping—it was a true sensory experience. A special thank‑you to Mr. Matta for guiding me through the maze of endless shops and helping me find the perfect place to purchase the famous Laad bangles. Watching them being made right in front of my eyes was incredible, and his help negotiating a fair price was greatly appreciated. After learning that I dabble in sewing, Mr. Matta also took me to a wonderful shop filled with beautiful trims and embroidery, where I was able to purchase stunning embroidered appliqués—an unexpected and delightful highlight of the day. Chowmahalla Palace was a photographer’s dream, overflowing with breathtaking architectural details. Although professional cameras were not permitted, my cell phone still captured the splendor and beauty of the palace. I highly recommend business travelers take time away from work to truly experience Hyderabad and its beauty. Mr. Matta is an excellent guide, and this private tour was absolutely perfect.
We had a lovely time with Mr. Matta! He is very knowledgeable, and showed us many interesting sites around Hyderabad. It was a very full day, and included delicious cookies and tea, along with a hearty lunch at a local neighbourhood spot. We learned a lot, and enjoyed one of the best views overlooking the city atop Golconda Fort. Highly recommend the day! Pro tip: wear comfortable walking shoes.

We learned a lot of history of Hyderabad from our guide, Matta S Reddy. The highlights were the Golconda fort and the Birla Temple . Mata was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was also very accommodating as we added another person to our group at the last minute and he adjusted the itinerary to meet our needs. I highly recommend taking his tour.
