Description
La lagune Humantay est l'une des attractions touristiques les plus visitées du Pérou. C'est l'un des plus beaux paysages naturels de Cusco. Ses eaux turquoises et cristallines ornées par les neiges blanches du Salkantay enneigé lui confèrent une beauté unique. Depuis l'époque des Incas, cette lagune était adorée par sa civilisation et aujourd'hui encore, elle est adorée et respectée par les habitants andins locaux de cette région.

Itinéraire
Nous viendrons vous chercher dans notre transport privé depuis votre hôtel à Cusco à 4h30. Ensuite, nous vous emmènerons à travers la Vallée Sacrée des Incas jusqu'à Mollepata. Le trajet dure environ quatre heures.
À Limatambo, vous dégusterez un délicieux petit-déjeuner de la région. Ensuite, nous continuerons le voyage dans notre transport privé jusqu'au début du trek, Soraypampa.
Soraypampa est le point de départ de la balade vers la lagune de Humantay. La marche de Soraypampa au lagon dure environ une heure et demie. Pendant la promenade, vous pourrez observer la belle nature qui entoure ces montagnes.
En atteignant le lagon, vous serez éblouis par ses eaux cristallines et naturelles qui descendent des sommets enneigés de la montagne Humantay. Après les informations que notre guide accrédité vous donnera et la visite. Vous pouvez faire une promenade de 15 minutes jusqu'au point de vue. Ici, vous pouvez obtenir des vues spectaculaires sur le lac et les impressionnantes montagnes qui l'entourent.
Après avoir visité ce magnifique lagon, nous retournerons au point de départ de la promenade où notre véhicule privé vous attendra. La balade dure environ une heure et demie.
Dans notre transport touristique, nous vous ramènerons à la ville de Cusco, en chemin nous nous arrêterons dans un restaurant local pour savourer un délicieux déjeuner. puis retour à Cusco, vous arriverez vers 17h30.

Lake Humantay with Cusco Travel was a wonderful experience. We decided to take a private tour. We highly recommend taking the private option. The private tour was great. We were able to go at our own pace. We really enjoyed that during the trip there were stops for breakfast and lunch. As for the hike, the scenery is beautiful. The hike took us about 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is fairly steep incline and the altitude is high. We were prepared for the drive to the mountain base and the hike. The view of the Laguna far exceeded expectations. Our guide Ricardo was phenomenal and made our trip wonderful. Highly recommended to do a tour with this agency and to request Ricardo. He is an experienced hiker and he was very attentive throughout. He kept us on pace and helped us take great photos. He had great recommendations. On the private tour the car was very gentle driving through the mount to the base. This was an unforgettable day.
Everything was perfectly organized. The driver was really good at navigating the narrow roads, going at just the right speed so that no one in the group suffered from motion sickness. Elisban, our guide, was attentive and helpful, providing us with interesting information and the right support for this wonderful excursion!

I think Rainbow Mountain’s hike is more interesting but Humantay Lake at the end wins by a large margin. Horses are available to rent if needed when going up (about 80 S), and definitely bring water and a few snacks for the climb and/or drive after. Long day with pick up at 4a in Cusco and return around 530p, but would recommend if there’s time.

Lake Humantay was very picturesque with stunning scenery. Challenging climb if you don’t acclimatize yourself beforehand, but worth every step.

Excellent option to go see the lagoon. The food and breakfast was excellent. Random and Oscar were the best to make the tour go excellent.
