We had a lovely tour directed by Linh N. He was informative, passionate, and knowledgeable! We had plenty of time to explore at each stop. Linh shared photos to enhance our experience and asked fun questions about how we might respond to events he described. Mr. Nguyen picked us up promptly. Gave us good information ahead of time about leaving our luggage at a local restaurant. The tour was just the right length with good stops and time to look around by ourselves. Mr. Nguyen knew a lot about the local sights and history. His English was good. He included everyone on the tour, by asking them questions and getting them involved in the history. It was very enjoyable. Also Mr Nguyen was much cuter than the picture of the emperor playboy that he kept showing everyone! LOL we really enjoyed our tour. Thanks!
The tour was very well organized. The guide spoke English very well. You can tell he is passionate about the history of his country. He answered all our questions with joy. The tour was dynamic with a touch of humor from the guide. At the end you can give the tip that you feel is appropriate.
We had the Hue Imperial City Tour with Linh in August 2026. The tour lasts 3 hours and covers all the buildings and main landmarks of the Citadel. Linh is an excellent guide: he told us a lot of interesting facts about Vietnamese history, in particular about 19th century and Imperial period. Besides history, Linh has been very available in teaching us a variety of curiosities about Vietnamese culture, language and traditions. I storngly recommended to explore the Citadel with him!
We’ve done many walking tours across Europe, and while we’ve enjoyed our travels around Southeast Asia, we haven’t always found the walking tours here to be of the same standard. This tour was the exception. It was by far one of the best we’ve done. The balance between entertaining storytelling and historical information was excellent. We learned so much about Hue, as well as Vietnam’s wider history and culture. If you like facts and history and hate those organised tours which try to cram in everything and feel rushed then you will really enjoy this well paced informative tour. Linh was a fantastic guide. His English was excellent, making everything easy to understand, and he was warm, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions throughout. We left with a much deeper appreciation of Hue and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city. Definitely worth your time!
