Après 50 minutes de route, nous nous arrêterons à un lieu de dégustation préhispanique traditionnel, où vous dégusterez du cacao, du café et du mezcal locaux tout en découvrant comment les tortillas artisanales sont fabriquées. Ce n'est qu'un échauffement pour le clou de la journée : les cascades. Notre destination principale est un ensemble époustouflant de cascades, où les eaux cristallines et le cadre luxuriant vous invitent à nager, vous détendre et ressentir la puissance rafraîchissante de la cascade principale. Au niveau supérieur, des grottes cachées ajoutent une touche de mystère à l'aventure. Pour les amateurs de sensations fortes, profitez de l'excitation d'une balade en tyrolienne. Après l’aventure, nous nous dirigerons vers Finca la Gloria, où vous dégusterez un authentique repas d’Oaxacan composé de graine de beauté noire avec du poulet, des haricots, des carnitas et des tortillas faites à la main. Pour terminer la journée, nous retournons dans la jungle de la Sierra, entourée d'une faune et d'une flore riches, jusqu'à votre hôtel. Avec des paysages à couper le souffle et des activités passionnantes, cette expérience promet d'être vraiment inoubliable.

Vivez la magie avec nous pour profiter de la Sierra Madre del Sur de Oaxaca, l'une des plus riches au monde en termes de flore et de faune et où sont cultivés les meilleurs grains de café. Cette merveilleuse aventure commence à partir des baies de Huatulco et se dirige vers la population de Llano Grande, une communauté située dans les montagnes. Le voyage d'environ 1 heure et 45 minutes nous mènera à travers des chemins de terre, où nous apprécierons les couleurs et les sons de la jungle, et ressentirons un sentiment de tranquillité en nous connectant avec la nature. À l'arrivée à la ferme de café, nous commencerons une visite à pied le long d'un sentier qui suit la rivière, où nous pourrons nous arrêter pour prendre de belles photos et observer de petites cascades qui forment de belles piscines d'eau, idéales pour se rafraîchir. Lorsque nous atteindrons la cascade principale, nous passerons environ 1 heure et demie à profiter de l'eau. Après avoir profité de l'eau, nous retournerons à la ferme pour prendre un repas traditionnel d'Oaxaca, comme la taupe noire, les haricots noirs, les carnitas de porc.

Oscar helped us choose the right tour and made sure we understand what to expect. The waterfalls were so magical and an experience we will never forget. The local food was so authentic. The whole experience, including our personal driver was outstanding. Just be prepared that you do experience along a winding road up a mountain to get to the waterfalls overall I’d highly recommend it , gracious Oscar you are awesome!

Very pretty waterfalls. Easy access but not for those that might have mobility problems. The drive is 1.5 hours with 30 minute over a very rough road. Our driver was excellent. The lunch was good and plentiful. Overall a positive experience.

Wonderful day at the waterfalls, stopped to make corn tortillas and buy chocolate, honey and mescal, terrific farm lunch and excellent tour guide 'Speedy Gonzalez"

We met Valentino (+52 958 589 2015) on the beach at Secrets. After talking to him for a while, we hired him to take us to the waterfalls in the mountains. The drive is amazing. You go through small villages, and see how some of the locals live. Most of the road is windy and paved. The last 5 km is dirt and very rough. We stopped at a coffee plantation. At the end of the road Valentino took us into where we would be having lunch, which used to be a coffee plantation, along with all of the machinery needed to process coffee. There were clean bathrooms, and a gift shop [ of course]. We then proceeded to the falls. There is an entry fee [ not included in tour] of 100 pesos. They village uses that money to maintain the walkways, change rooms and bathrooms. [very clean, but no seat on the flushing toilet] The walk to the falls is less than five minutes. The water is crystal clear, and very refreshing. My wife and I swam in three of the pools, and I managed to get under two of the waterfalls. After an hour or so in the water it was back to have lunch. It was fantastic. We had chicken, and pork, with salad, and a lot of sauces that I don't remember the names of. The mole was the best I have ever had. After a bathroom break we were on our way back to Secrets. Valentino stopped to get some small bananas for his grandchildren. We each had one. I is hard to go back to the one we have at home. A little background on Valentino Garcia Ortiz. He is in his mid sixties, and has be doing guiding foe about 50 years. His English is excellent. He has two boats for fishing and tours, as well as the van. His kids were running the boat when we were there. He was one of the founders of the recycle program in Huatulco many years ago. He was on the city council for three years in the early 2020's.

The experience was great - but definitely NOT for anyone with mobility issues or who gets carsick. Also note that this price is only for the van & an excellent guide - EVERYTHING else is extra. Rates for all the activities quoted in the confirmation message the day before departure were also NOT accurate. So be sure to bring extra PESOS & NOT $US

Road was steep and windy in some places so got a bit motion sick - otherwise great experience!

We loved this tour! The waterfalls are beautiful to look at but also to swim in. Afterwards you get to visit a small farming community for a really tasty lunch and sample coffee and chocolates. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Huatulco.
