Le pont Thanh Toan est l'un des ponts les plus spéciaux du Vietnam. Les clients voyageant vers la ville de Hue, à côté des tobms royaux, de la ville impériale de Hue et des pagodes, ont également la chance de visiter ce pont avec une vue imprenable sur le Vietnam Courntryside. Selon certains documents historiques, au XVIe siècle, de nombreuses personnes de la province de Thanh Hoa ont suivi le seigneur Nguyen Hoang pour immigrer à Thuan Hoa (l'ancien nom de Hue). Parmi ces immigrants, 12 patriarches ont mis le pied dans cette région et ont fondé le village de Thanh Toan. Ce n'est qu'au 18ème siècle que le pont Thanh Toan a commencé sa construction. Mme Tran Thi Dao, l'une des descendantes de la sixième génération de la famille Tran du village de Thanh Toan, a fait don d'une grosse somme pour construire le pont. Le pont a été construit en 1776 et achevé la même année. Outre la construction du pont, Tran Thi Thao a également utilisé son argent pour faire de nombreuses œuvres caritatives, elle était donc adorée par les villageois.
L'Elephant Springs Vietnam est facilement l'un des plus beaux trésors cachés du Vietnam. Cette source naturelle qui se déverse dans des bassins d'eau douce à partir d'une chute d'eau est située à 53 kilomètres à l'extérieur de Hue, soit environ 1 heure de route (incluse dans la durée). Il est également situé à seulement 20 kilomètres du tristement célèbre col de Hai Van, une route considérée par Top Gears Jeremy Clarkson comme "un ruban désert de perfection - l'une des meilleures routes côtières au monde". Au cours des dernières années, il est devenu incroyablement populaire auprès des touristes et des habitants en tant que lieu de détente, en particulier lors des journées chaudes, et savoure de la bière, de la nourriture et de l'eau fraîche. Cependant, il a toujours le sentiment d'être intact et pas complètement envahi comme beaucoup d'autres destinations populaires.
30 minutes en voiture jusqu'au prochain emplacement (inclus dans la durée) La lagune de Lap An, également connue sous le nom de lagune d'An Cu ou lagune de Lang Co, est une lagune d'eau saumâtre avec un paysage naturel fantastique situé sur les rives de la baie de Lang Co, dans la ville de Lang Co, Province de Thua Thien Hue. Cet endroit est aussi l'un des 12 lagons emblématiques de la région centrale du Vietnam ! La situation du lagon est également exceptionnelle lorsqu'il se trouve sur le massif Hai Van – Bach Ma, juste à la limite des régions climatiques Nord et Sud. Par conséquent, la température du lagon varie de 18 à 31 ° C. Il fera également assez frais tôt le matin ou en début de soirée - Moments idéaux pour visiter le lagon de Lang Co.
20 minutes en voiture (inclus dans la durée) Concurrent pour la route la plus célèbre du Vietnam, le col de Hai Van est un itinéraire court mais pittoresque qui serpente à flanc de montagne au-dessus de la mer de l'Est, sur la côte centrale. Đèo Hải Vân – Ocean Cloud Pass – est célèbre pour plusieurs raisons : comme frontière géographique et politique entre les anciens royaumes ; comme une fracture climatique entre le sud tropical et le nord subtropical ; et comme poste militaire stratégique en temps de guerre, à la fois ancienne et moderne. Mais, plus récemment, le col de Hai Van est célèbre, tout simplement, comme un excellent road trip reliant les destinations vietnamiennes populaires du centre de Hoi An, Danang et Hue.
Environ 1h15 de route. Marble Mountains est un groupe de cinq pics calcaires situés à sept kilomètres du centre-ville de Da Nang. Les cinq karsts (appelés Ngu Hanh Son en vietnamien) portent le nom des cinq éléments : Kim (métal), Thuỷ (eau), Mộc (bois), Hoả (feu) et Thổ (terre). Au fil des siècles, les montagnes de marbre ont eu une importance particulière pour les habitants du centre du Vietnam. Les anciens Cham vénéraient les karsts comme un site spirituel, et les empereurs vietnamiens de Hue et les généraux légendaires de passage payaient des visites aux sommets, ajoutant à leur réserve de légendes. Aujourd'hui, Marble Mountains abrite un réseau de grottes, de tunnels, de tours et de pagodes construits par les bouddhistes Mahayana et les rois de la dynastie Nguyen. Les structures et les sanctuaires se fondent harmonieusement avec la nature : des vrilles de vigne coulent d'en haut, des frangipaniers et des poincianas déposent leurs fleurs sur les chemins de pierre, et les toits ornés des pagodes scintillent sous le soleil tropical. C'est un cadre qui capture facilement l'imagination.

Fantastic tour in old Jeep. Took us to various sites, the best being the waterfall. My daughter and I really enjoyed the day. It’s a long days trip, with lots of stop offs and a chance to enjoy the countryside and scenery, and we really felt Like we got off the beaten path.

Great day. Drivers were very friendly, tour included lots of activities- local market, fishing village, lovely swim in a fresh waterfall, great seafood lunch on the beach. Drive over Hoi Van pass was good although unfortunately it was smoggy. Transfert to a car at the top for a visit to Marble Mountain. Would thoroughly recommend this day trip

I traveled with Tiger and Lu from Hoi An to Hue by a vintage 1969 US Army Jeep (M151 MUTT). What a memorable way to transfer from one city to another in Vietnam! in the morning, I was picked up by Tiger at my homestay in Hoi An in an SUV. Hoi An supposedly does not allow the Jeep in the old town. We drove north to the Marble Mountains in Da Nang. I had about 40 minutes to climb the steps or take the elevator up to Mount Thuy. I did the uneven steps up and the smooth and fast elevator down. Interesting Buddhist sanctuaries built into the marble cliffs and grottoes. Great views over the city. Next and off the mountain, we briefly visited a very large marble statue store selling very large to very small statues. We mostly walked through the showroom but I was not really interested in marble souvenirs (Vietnamese made? Chinese? I wasn't sure...) - bring on the Jeep! In the SUV, we drove to the top of Hai Van Pass for a quick visit to the historic buildings and the overlook, and then my luggage and I transferred to the 1969 Jeep with Lu at the wheel. The ride was comfortable and mostly open-air as we had a fine partly-sunny day. I took some photos near the stops that Jeremy, James, and Richard made in 2008, and then we carried on downhill and into a small town for lunch at a restaurant overlooking the crashing waves of the East Sea (aka, South China Sea). Next, it was back into the Jeep and up the coast to some countryside areas (rice fields) south of Hue. We also went back into the hills for a visit to a beautiful waterfalls in Bach Ma National Park. I was invited to swim but declined as the weather was a bit breezy and cool. Finally, we drive into the city of Hue to my hotel just northwest of the Imperial City. Lu was both my tour guide and very capable driver in the Jeep. I felt perfectly safe and happy with his obvious driving expertise. This was a great day trip. It's definitely not the cheapest or fastest way to get from Hoi An to Hue (take the train for that), but it is hands-down the most memorable. Thanks guys. What a great day we had for our Jeep transfer. Sadly the weather was terrible - very wet and foggy, which detracted from the views we expected, but we had a great day. We also booked a Jeep for our son and his girlfriend, so they could do the trip with us. Our drivers, See (Quang) and Peter were so friendly and had so much information to give and tales to tell. The 1965 army jeeps were full of character! It was a bit chilly in the damp but we were under cover and enjoyed the ‘natural air conditioning’! We made stops along the way - after a tour of Hue which was good- Tam Giang Lagoon to see fishing boats, a waterfall in a national park, and enjoyed a lunch stop at Lang Co beach at a fish restaurant on stilts over the windswept beach. The food was amazing - a big seafood buffet . From there we started up the Hai Van Pass. Sadly we didn’t get views as we went but once at the top the clouds briefly parted so we could see the coast, and Da Nang below. After coffee we started the descent. Said goodbye to our drivers and swapped to a lovely big car for a stop at Marble Mountain for a look at the temples, before being dropped off in Hoi An. Travelling in an old army jeep was fun. The drivers were great. Just a shame about the weather! Would definitely recommend the experience.

The trip was awesome we were picked up from our Hotel in the jeep The drivers Lou & Mosiquito were fantastic communicated well and looked to be having a good a time as we were. Nothing too much trouble stopping to take photos whenever we wanted The stop at the market was good as Lou walked round with us explaining all the local produce Next stop briefly at a local fishing village that we would never have found ourselves The waterfalls were amazing we were able to swim on January the water not too cold Seafood lunch was spectacular on a bamboo pier with the sea beneath us all the food was local and tasty The climb up the Hai Van Pass was great in the jeep with the open sides you had a view of the bay on one side and the Mountains and waterfalls on the other
