Beautiful ride on the trail. The horses loved the ocean and ran in. Our was so fun riding in the water

Had the best time. Would definitely book again. The guide was great as so was the horses. Absolutely made my trip to Jamaica

our ticket clearly stated 12pm meeting time. Operator claimed they came between 11:15am and 11:30. There was no driver as confirmed by the resort staff when we arrived at 11:45am. I tried to rebook and they gave me the next day in direct conflict with another Viator booking. I asked for the booking to be moved and the operator said it was already moved once. No decent person doing business would decline a refund. im waiting to see if they do the right thing and actually gain my future business

Let me list the positives first. Our shuttle driver was great, the horses were beautiful and the trail was nice to ride but the terrain seemed hard on the horses. Very rocky in certain areas. Our horses seemed tired and we didnt see any area they could get shade or water. They were tied to fences when we got there. We only had one tour guide for a group of 5. 2 were definitely needed. I told the guide from the beginning I had never rode a horse and he put me on a younger horse who he said needed to be in the front. I never understood why I was basically the guide, he stayed in the back the entire time. He kept yelling at me to speed up and to hit the horse with the reins. I refused to hit an animal. None of the horses could be close to each other or they got sketchy and my horse tried to bite another. I feel they should have been trained to ride together. My husband told the guide several times his horses bit was not in his mouth correctly and the guide would not listen. Got rude with my husband several times and kept telling him it was him "not doing it right", looking at pictures later we discovered the bit was definitely wrong. The 4th time he was rude to my husband he was yelling at him to turn right but he was pinned between another horse and rider. He could not do it safely. So his irish temper flared and he yelled back to stop talking to him like he was stupid. The guide had been condensending the entire time. Im honestly suprised it took my husband that long to explode. His safety and anothers werent anything he was willing to risk. We expected another guide to be at the beach waiting for us for pictures and to help us get in the water. No one was there, the guide asked for your phone and his horse made all the other horses nervous. It was very unorganized and chaotic in the water. We didnt end up getting any pictures in the ocean. He should have tied his horse up to take pics. Since it advertises it. Dismounting the horses was stressful. There was nowhere for him to tie the horses to, he was holding the reins of all of them. He had 4 other horses in his hands when he got to me. But he yelled at me the entire time on the trail to not let my horse near the others?? There should have been another guide, the disorganization ruined my time and our horses were starving and stopped to eat everything but then he would yell at us not to let them. We should have taken water with us, we did not. If you consider this trip take some. Theres nowhere to fill up a bottle on the trail or before. Would not recommend this excursion unless you dont get the same tour guide or they realize that 2 are needed for groups of 5.

Wonderful experience. The guide was great, as were the horses. The first time my partner ever road a horse. We had a wonderful day.

I believe is name was Javin or Davin, nickname Chaos. Loved him. He was awesome and provided all kinds of information.

Wouldn’t recommend booking with them at all. They will try to charge you twice even when you paid and go as far as to bring police for their own mess up. I had to have Viator contact them to let them know I had paid even though my ticket and booking confirmation were all there and shown to tour guide before we began. The tour guide was alright, sometimes rude and they don’t take pictures.

My horseback riding experience was really good. The driver was very friendly, and we got to meet two other people who were also taking the excursion with us. Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the farm, and he provided a lot of good conversation throughout the tour. Taking the horse into the water was definitely a weird experience since I had never done that before, but it was very fun. I would absolutely do it again.

Horse riding guide was really impatient with our kids who were inexperienced riders, borderline rude! Not very communicative about the whole planned track. We went to the ocean and then were told to get off the horses at the ocean and told that our driver was waiting for us right there. We expected to ride back in a full circle to where we started from. We also did not go into the ocean at all and the guide’s excuse for it was that the ocean was rough and there was a bit of lightening. So whether or not that was a valid reason, overall it was a subpar experience. The horse breed was also small quarter horses that felt more like donkeys

The horseback ride was a lot of fun, and the guides were friendly and helpful. Riding along the beach was a highlight of my Jamaica vacation. Unfortunately, the pickup process was frustrating. I waited about 45 minutes past the scheduled pickup time with no communication about the delay. Resort staff at Couples Swept Away helped by making calls, and I was initially told I had provided the wrong resort information, even though my confirmation listed the correct resort. The excursion was enjoyable, but the transportation and communication need improvement. Without the help of the resort staff, I might have missed it entirely.
