Beautiful experience with my two children! As we were the first tour of the day without pickup, we were alone with our guide. Since we had all ridden before, she let us try tölt, which was amazing! I definitely reccomend!
The horses were adorable, and the guides were friendly and helpful. The guides really made our visit extra special by taking photos and videos of the family while we rode and chatting about things to do in Iceland. The riding tour itself is peaceful and serene. The guides tailor your experience to your riding expertise, so it works well for riders of all levels. Highly recommend and would visit again!
I had a great time riding and spending time with the Icelandic horses. There were 3 levels to choose from: easy stroll, trotting, and faster for advanced riders. I chose the easy stroll since I hadn’t been on a horse in years, and wish I has selected the trotting, since being back on the horse, riding came back naturally. Regardless, it was a fun experience, and the guides were wonderful. I loved how enthusiastic they were and so encouraging and helpful to new riders.
awesome! we were all complete beginners and went for the horses and waffles tour, which was a nice 50 mins and the we got hot cocoa and waffles afterwards. The guides were awesome, clearly love horses and having fun being guides. The horses were all extremely calm and nice and we felt relaxed and safe the whole time.
It was such a beautiful experience. We got all informations needed, the guides were friendly and supportive, the landscapes wonderful and the islandic horses very cute.
It was a wonderful trip. The operator assures us that this is an option for those with some experience, and indeed ours was. The ride wasn't just a slow walk, but a much faster ride through beautiful terrain.
Absolutely amazing. Just go! You will not see anything or do anything more fantastic. I went with my daughter and we booked 3 more riding days after.
INCREDIBLE ! The staff and guides were extraordinary and the ride was great. Can not recommend enough!
At first I was concerned because of the size of the group. But, the staff were very organized. We were asked about our riding levels and given horses accordingly. Part way into the ride, we were divided up by being an experienced rider or inexperienced. As one of the experienced riders, we were allowed to go faster by experiencing the tolt gait. I managed to get in a little cantering, too! The guides were friendly, helpful, and knowlegable. There’s also a sitting room where you can get coffee or tea (maybe hot chocolate?) and look at books. They provide helmets, and have weather-protecting gear for everyone if needed.
Our guide was very friendly and the horses were easy to ride! Very cool experience
