This bus delivered what it said. Audio commentary was also good and music in-between sections was nice. It gives you a genuine overview of Thessaloniki and you can get off at stops for more exploring.
There’s no nice way to put this. We ended up using another tour bus service because the bus stops aren’t marked for this tour agency and our drop off point in front of Dimitriod was not the same as the pick up. Maybe due to traffic they chose a different spot, but we were not informed upon our exit. We waited 20 minutes, only to watch the bus drive right by us. After another 30 min and a phone call to the tour company to find the location (which was a woman with a screaming child in the background), there wasn’t no resolution as the call had dropped. An hour in the heat wasn’t a pleasant experience. We ended up using Citysightseeing to finish our trip. I do NOT recommend this company. Stick with ones that are well known, such as BigBus or CitySightseeing.
You could buy tickets as you got off cruise ship in port and get straight on a bus . Go fully round route once then decide where to get off on second circuit. "Stop 5" Castle was very busy with big queue to get back on bus
The hop on/off bus works well in Thessaloniki as the loop is not so big as in other major cities. However the audio system was bad in all 3 different buses we took and narrative kind of weak, with the same voice acting as guide and “tourist”.
Very convenient. Pick up and drop off at port. Drivers very friendly. Got to see all the major sights in Thessaloniki.
Great, easy way to see the sights. Good value, and great stops on the routes. Due to it being the winter schedule there were less buses. It did not affect my plans though.
Was worth a look around. Was a bit disappointed, only because all our other stops throughout the Greek Islands were amazing. We were happy to just take the bus for a look around and listen to commentary
Really easy way to get around and see the main sights. Can jump on and off as often as needed. Used hop on hop off in 4 cities now and always recommend if not driving yourself
