Never been to Hong Kong before we decided to do this as an overview. Good tour but a little rushed. Fantastic view from Victoria Peak. Stanley Market was interesting but not enough time.
Good overview of Hong Kong island. Candy, our guide, was great. Only negative is the visit to the jewelry place where the sales staff are too aggressive in trying to get you to buy. Dont like to be pressured and followed around. Prefer to replace that visit with longer visit at Stanley Market.
We were picked up from and returned to our hotel so this was very convenient for us. 4 in our group which was great. Joelle was very helpful and provided good information for tourists in the area - above & beyond for the tour. We had 4 destinations: The Peak, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Jewellery Shop, Stanley Markets. For us personally, we could have skipped the jewellery place and spent more time at Stanley Markets. Overall though we were pleased to have taken the tour and really enjoyed the time.
A per other reviewers, this was a good tour. BEST PART: Peak Tower Sky 428 Observation Deck. AMAZING VIEW. As Peak Tram is not operating now, this was an easy way to get picked up at my hotel in Kowloon and see this fantastic view. GOOD PART: The Aberdeen Sampan ride was fun, but not a must see. Stanley Market is a fun souvenir venue EH PART: High pressure Jewelry factory tour, could of lived without it. NOTE: BOOKING THIS TOUR ON VIATOR WAS HALF PRICE BOOKING THROUGH HOTEL TOUR DESK!!!
A great overview of the city attractions. Our tour guide Ryan shared his knowledge about Hong Kong people and culture. The sampan ride was great. (Not included in price) and the view from Victoria Peak was great. Great that hotel pick up and drop pff included.

This is a good trip if you’ve never been before to HK. You are picked up and dropped off from your hotel by bus with others. Taken to Victoria peak first, it was misty for us, so not the best day, but still worth seeing. Aberdeen village next, you do have to pay extra 60HK dollars to go on a boat round the harbour if you want to. Jewellery factory next, this consisted of a talk by a member of staff about making of the jewellery then we were taken into the shop. You didn’t get to see any making of the product. I did buy a ring which I love, it’s fairly expensive but beautiful unusual pieces. Next we were taken to the market, that was good, but more time could’ve been spent there and a bit less at the jewellery place. The tour guide was informative and a bit funny too, he did a good job. I think the tour could’ve been a bit better had we had a little more time in the Victoria peak and markets and maybe time for lunch, well worth the price tho and less hassle than organising the activities yourself.
The tour was a bit of a let down as the online description is not totally accurate. Firstly, the visit to the Fishing Village was an extra charge of $HK60 not mentioned at all until we got there and were asked to pay by the guide. Then the ride on an open-top rickshaw bus to explore several of Hong Kong’s heritage sites with 360-degree views.is actually at the conclusion of the 5 hr. tour, which meant I could not go on it as I had another arrangement - also, if you did go on it you had to make your own way back to your hotel, again, none of this mentioned in the online details on Tripadvisor.
We did the same tour many years ago. the problem now is that HKG is polluted, dirty and is not a nice place to visit. The locals walk all over you. Do not bother with this tour, as we wasted an hour in a jewellery factory which reduced our time at the markets. Get a ONE day premium pass with the Big Bus. Forget Kowloon and do the two routes on Hong Kong island. Do the Sampan tour of Aberdeen too. Do the Hour cruise, but you may want to get of in Kowloon to save time if your hotel is there, .
I really enjoyed the tour, I learned a lot about people of hong kong and ross was a very good guide. I recommand that tour.
