Note : Les périodes de floraison sont estimées.

The places we visited were worthwhile but we got no information on the significance of these places nor were we invited to ask questions.
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the places you visited. We apologize that the level of commentary did not meet your expectations
Rita was our phenomenal tour guide. She was extremely positive, knowledgeable, and helpful in her recommendations for the shopping we did and what to eat — raw fruit corn all the way! Rita made the whole tour fun and engaging. I really enjoyed the Blue Pond, which was strikingly beautiful and unusual. The lavender at Tomita Farms was also a highlight. I’m so glad I went.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear Rita made your tour so enjoyable with her knowledge and enthusiasm. We're glad you loved the Blue Pond, Tomita Farm, and the delicious raw fruit corn. We hope to welcome you on another adventure soon!
Leo is a very helpful guide. The tour was good for the transportation and location. Although the season was not the right flower blooming season, it was still beautiful.
Thank you for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear that Leo was helpful and that you enjoyed the tour. Even though it wasn’t peak flower season, we’re glad you still found the scenery beautiful and appreciated the convenience of visiting Blue Pond and the Furano area. Thank you for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Hokkaido in another season to experience even more of its beauty!
Very poor it was suppose to be with English speaking guide. But he did almost total tour in Chinese. Very disappointed.there were no flowers in Furano. I would have appreciated if they could have clarified it when I booked the tour
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. Regarding the flower fields, the product description clearly states that flower blooming is seasonal and depends on weather and natural conditions. Unfortunately, outside the peak blooming period, some flower fields may not be in full bloom.
TripAdvisor should not sell this package at the moment of the year because there is basically no flower to look at. The tour guide was nice and friendly.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to kindly clarify that our product description does already mention that flowering periods are seasonal and only estimates, and that the itinerary may be adjusted to ensure the best possible viewing conditions depending on the time of visit. It is also noted that natural conditions such as weather and bloom timing are beyond our control. We are truly sorry if the experience did not fully meet your expectations on the day of travel.
This was a fun one-day trip from Sapporo. Jenny, the your guide o got, was quite simply amazing. The day before she texted all info and made sure everything was clear. Pick up went very smoothly, she is super organised and runs the whole thing like clockwork. By 8.10 we had already picked up two sets of people and were on our way to Furano. She provided lots of information on the bus (in three languages) and was there to answer any questions. The locations we visited are great. Not all flower varieties were are in full bloom at this time if the year, which was expected, but given it’s still low season, it also meant it wasn’t too crowded, which i really loved. The blue pond and the mountains (including a smoking volcano) were the highlights. You should be aware that there is a lot of time spent on the bus, but unless you rent your own car and spend the night taking your time, this is the only way of visiting these beautiful places. Overall, great day, would recommend for sure. Make sure you get Jenny because she will make the experience totally enjoyable. It was like talking to a friend.
Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear you had such an enjoyable day trip from Sapporo and that Jenny made the experience so special for you. It’s fantastic to know her organization, communication, and multilingual guidance helped everything run smoothly and comfortably throughout the day. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with her — she will be very happy to hear them. We’re also glad you enjoyed the beautiful scenery, especially Blue Pond and the mountain views. Thank you as well for sharing helpful insights about the travel time and seasonal flowers for future travelers.
We took a bus tour that left from the Biei Tourist Information Centre for 3 1/2 hours long. The tour included four stops that Shirogane Blue Pond and Shikisai-no-Oka (Panoramic Flower Garden) were part of. There were a lot of people upon our arrival at the Flower Garden but fortunately the bus company had already purchased our entry tickets so we did not have to wait in the long line. We visited during the second week of August and there were rows of colorful flowers on the hillsides that you can view from a distance away. There is also a tractor that hauls people around for close-up views but I believe that it is a separate admission price for that. I'm not sure if the tractor does stop at all. The best thing is to walk around the hillsides to view as well as photograph the flowers. The colors were so vibrant from a distance away-- bright red, yellow, orange, along with purple, pink and white flowers. There were also two whimsical bales of hay decorated as a boy and girl scarecrow welcoming everyone at the entrance. In addition, there are alpacas here that you can feed and pet through a fenced in area. I believe it is a separate fee for that portion of the visit. A nice experience to encounter if you have not had the opportunity to spend some time with alpacas as they are very gentle and quiet animals. It is well worth a visit here during the summer months when the day light hours are longer. A lot of color for sure!!
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the vibrant flower fields and the beauty of Biei and Furano. It’s great that you had a smooth experience with the pre-purchased tickets and took time to explore the gardens and meet the alpacas. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again for another colorful Hokkaido adventure!
Wrong time to attend this tour. Wished I had know the flower fields was non existent due to weather and the current time of year. This tour should stop once the flower fields are done.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the flower fields did not meet your expectations during your visit. The blooming season can vary each year depending on weather conditions, and we understand how disappointing it can be when nature doesn’t cooperate. We appreciate your suggestion and will take it into consideration when scheduling future tours. We hope you’ll visit again during peak season to enjoy the full beauty of the flower fields.
This is probably a beautiful tour in summer or spring. We went in mid Oct and all we saw were empty fields and snow( which was at least something). But the attractions they take you too are all barren or closed up.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the seasonal conditions affected your visit. The scenery is best enjoyed in spring and summer, but we appreciate you joining the tour and hope you can visit again during peak season.
This was a big day out from Sapporo Central train station: north exit, hosted by our very informative and ever happy 😀 host Rita. It was around 2 hours drive to get to the start of our day in the mountains. We were fully informed in English/Mandarin. We had plenty of stops including the main attractions of the Blue Pond (amazing to see in real life) and the Flower Farm (plenty of colour left, but only a week or so & there would be little: we went on 18 October). Plenty of shopping available. The lunch stop was terrific, with most of us opting to buy our own. Rita helped organise everyone! The food was cheap but very nice: free hot tea was consumed as was a free ice cream. We started around 8.30am and returned at 5.30pm. Would we do this again: No, but only because these touristy places, in our opinion are, once seen, then ticked off as done. This is no reflection on our very capable and caring host Rita, who must have been exhausted after looking after our bus load of enquiring tourists all day. Was it worth the $$$ paid: in short, absolutely: you would be crazy to think you could do all that we did in a day by oneself via public transport or a rental car: if you had a week and could afford to stay in nice hotels out there and hire a car, you might: but we couldn’t. So in a nutshell, we would recommend that you spend our hard earned dollars on this all-day trip and lastly, we sincerely hope you get Rita: she is one of the best guides we have come across in our many years of international travel: 5 big cheers for Rita and our great bus driver!!! 👏🏽👍💁🏼 We know how important these independent honest reviews are to our fellow travellers, as we do. We know this is a long review & thanks for getting to this point: the end. ALGreynomads
