For a tourist traveling that does not know the language, it will be advantageous to book a tour guide with minimal expense. We enjoyed our tour with an excellent tour guide.
Did not show up and did not respond to emails or calls. Had to get a refund but ruined our evening as we were looking forward to the trip.
Had an amazing tour! Had enough time to go the iconic places and spend enough time to roam around the area. They also have food choices for vegetarians.
I had such an amazing time with my tour guide Luan who considered us family, was very upbeat, and very well informed about everything we saw. He kept the tour very fun and was very personable. The locations themselves were gorgeous and worth every climb. I also appreciate the comfortable cool van used for transportation and the waters provided. Many Thanks for your great services.
Some walking involved on some steep steps which might be slippery while exploring Marble Mountain. A BIG dinner is included (very yummy local cuisine).... Plenty of time to see magical nighttime lights in Hoi An. Lots of folks took a 20 minute boat ride but we decided not to. Lots of night market vendors. Pickups were at lots of hotels.... Drop off for tour was back at our hotel. Tim our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful! Just enough time.... Not too long and not too short
I signed up for Marble Mountain + Hoi An from Danang. For Marble Mountain, they have forgotten/missed me out, didnt pick me up from hotel as promised. After few calls after passing 30 min of the promised time, someone text/call me back. They admitted and apologised that they have missed me out, but immediately sent another taxi/Grab to fetch me to Marble Mountain to meet up with the tour. However, it was heavy rain when i arrived, and they didnt manage to let me join in the tour as they are already half way through. The tour company felt bad of my experience and immediately tell me they will propose for partial refund. Nonetheless, I managed to join them on the 2nd part, ie the trip to Hoi An, from 6-9pm. It was a great experience, they brought us for a meal of 6 types of local Vietnam food, including the famous chicken rice, Guang Noodles, spring rolls etc. The guide is very helpful and patience, did all his best to make sure we know how to go about in the Hoi An town and ensure we know where is the meet up point. After the trip, the tour company also continue to check with me on my feedback and keep me updated while they are trying to process with the partial refund and informed me that it will take a few days. No doubt they have made a mistake, but they have been trying their best on service recovery. Thank you so much for giving me a good experience in Hoi An!
HIEU was excellent and funny. The trip was amazing and smooth. He explained everything in detail and telling us about the history of Buddhism. The Experience was good and pleased especially the Marble Mountain. The monkey Mountain was great and we saw monkey that day too. The temple was amazing with stunning architecture details. Be aware of steps when going to Marble Mountain however they are an lift that will get up half way to the top and about 100 steps to reach the top of the mountain. Overall, very well tour and experience so I highly recommended. Hoi an city -It’s a nice place! Do prepare for lots of walking and climbing and be prepared to take photos of the stunning views! Value for money!
The trip was ok and the guide nice. But the bus will not take you to Hoi an city center and walking is over 40 minutes so in the end the only way is pay ectra for a electric car. So if they alreafy know this should already be included in the price because you dont really have a choice...
I supper loved this tour. As a newcomer, someone who knew nothing about where to find the best Vietnamese food in their local eateries, this was the highlight of my trip. Furthermore, both Ngu Hanh Son and Hoi An are rich in the cultural essence and history of Central Vietnam. The blend of the magnificent natural beauty in Ngu Hanh Son and the vibrant, ancient ambiance of Hoi An creates a memorable travel experience. The guide was friendly, articulate, and clearly experienced in explaining and showcasing the beauty of Hoi An’s old town. She took us to try Banh Mi and Mi Queen (definitely a must-try), aromatic specialty pancakes, and Cao Lau noodles! There was so much food, so be mindful not to overeat at lunchtime! 😉 The tour was comprehensive, allowing you to experience Hoi An as a local!
My family and I truly enjoyed the tour led by Tea. The foods we tasted during the tour were all delicious, and despite having tried most of Hoi An’s specialties before joining this tour, she explained the foods very well. We were also truly impressed to find that we were not only provided with ample portions of food but also give individual servings. Therefore, we felt the tour was well worth the money. Hoi An at night is a romantic and vibrant destination, with narrow streets illuminated by colorful lanterns. The historic scenery with its ancient houses and the Japanese Bridge lit by warm yellow lights creates an incredible and picturesque scene. The tranquil Hoai River, with lantern-lit boats floating on its surface, creates a space that is both romantic and mystical. The roadside cafes, lively street corners, and cultural activities make for a unique and appealing environment for tourists. Hoi An at night is certainly a memorable experience that one cannot forget.
