Votre visite commence dans la plus grande ville de Nouvelle-Zélande. Alors que nous conduisons hors de la ville, votre guide vous préparera non seulement le décor de votre aventure aujourd'hui, mais vous indiquera et vous guidera également au-delà de certains des meilleurs moments de la ville.
En sortant d'Auckland, nous nous dirigerons vers le sud à travers la magnifique campagne de Waikato, la zone agricole la plus étendue du monde, à la rencontre de beaux paysages, de puissantes rivières, de superbes opportunités de photos, de montagnes impressionnantes et d'une variété d'animaux de ferme en cours de route.
Arrivé à la première attraction « Hobbiton », vous monterez à bord de l’un des grands bus verts Hobbiton et partirez pour une visite guidée de deux heures et demie de cet incroyable plateau de cinéma de 12 acres, avec un guide professionnel Hobbiton pour vous assurer de tirer le meilleur parti de votre visite. Pendant votre visite, entrez dans les pâturages luxuriants de la Comté, visitez 44 trous de hobbit, découvrez des jardins étonnants, écoutez les secrets et les histoires sur la fabrication des films et dégustez une boisson fraîche gratuite au célèbre pub Hobbiton « The Green Dragon Hôtel ».
En partant pour Rotorua, nous traversons Tirau pour notre aventure. Surnommée la `` capitale mondiale du fer ondulé '' en raison des nombreuses sculptures et bâtiments uniques en tôle ondulée, cette ville ne manque jamais de faire un coup d'œil et de rire et nos guides vous indiqueront tous les principaux points forts en cours de route.
En arrivant à notre deuxième destination, Te Puia, vous recevrez une visite entièrement guidée pour découvrir au mieux les merveilles géothermiques et culturelles maories, y compris: Pōhutu Geyser, l'architecture maorie, l'école nationale des arts maoris, les cratères géothermiques, les événements géothermiques et même la possibilité d'observer un oiseau kiwi dans la maison d'observation kiwi.
Pour terminer notre expérience à Rotorua, nous effectuons une visite guidée en voiture des sites les plus célèbres de la ville de Rotorua, notamment: le lac Rotorua, le musée de Rotorua, les jardins du gouvernement, Whangapipiro (Rachel Spring) et les bains bleus. S'il reste du temps, nous pouvons même visiter une boutique de souvenirs spéciale pour faire des achats à prix réduit et essayer le miel de Manuka.
Malheureusement, nous devons recommencer à nous diriger vers le nord, mais votre journée n'est pas finie avec un retour entièrement guidé à Auckland, y compris des arrêts secrets en cours de route.

It was a great day from start to end. Our driver and guide Vicki was exceptional ! She kept us entertained all along the trip ( LoR movie on the way back was the perfect way to end this memorable day). She provided us with lots of information and made our experience so much more enjoyable. PS : Having watched only the first LoR movie, I was afraid that I wouldn’t enjoy Hobbiton, but it ended up being the highlight of the day. The tour in Te Puia and seeing Kiwis and a Geyser for the first time was nice as well. A big Thank You to Vicki once again. The experience is 100% worth it and would definitely recommend.

It was a packed day that started early in the morning but our guide Jeoff brought kind positivity, was extremely organised and taught us more about New Zealand’s rich and varied culture along the way. Hobbiton was beautiful. Then we got lucky and spotted kiwi birds AND geysers at Te Puia. I would recommend this trip especially if you have limited time and want to see as much as possible in one day!
John is a brilliant tour guide/driver. A lot of fun, informative, kept the group energy up from 5.45 till the drop-off. I had a thought to drop off at Rotorua for the Māori show if there were tickets. He went out of his way to check a hotel room where they normally stay. He called the office to check if I could be picked up the next day. All was set but the evenin experience ticket I had seen was gone. But I appreciated the effort and desire to help me experience the Māori evening. Def recommended and will do more with them.

It was the best! The drive there was smooth and our driver Trent made sure to keep us all comfortable with some snacks and water along the way. He also made sure to inform us of the time, where to meet, and what to do to make sure the entire trip would go without a hitch. Hobbiton was the best and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want more time we would suggest getting a somewhat private tour to really get into the world of the Hobbits and enjoy it freely. All the admission fees were already included in the package though, so we can’t complain. One thing we would have wished for Te Puia would have been to experience the cultural presentation and see the Haka. Unfortunately the tour only included the first package. We suggest upgrading even just to the higher package next to it to avail of the cultural performance which we think will tie up the whole experience and make it better. Aside from that, the tour was amazing. Worth enjoying a full day of driving, seeing the sights, and learning more about New Zealand.
Well planned and comfortable vehicle
This was a fun and informative tour. Simon our driver/guide provided information about New Zealand and what we would see along the drive. Hobbiton was amazing, it boosted the memories of LOR movies - so much that we have started to re-watch. Te Puia cultural park was informative about Māori cultural plus there’s a huge geyser and we saw 2 kiwi birds. Long by great day!

Our tour guide, Alessandro, provided us with umbrellas, snacks & water and was friendly & knowledgeable of the areas visited. He also made sure we were comfortable and happy at all times. Although our day was very long, we would highly recommend this trip to any first-time visitors to Auckland as we learnt so much.
