Bonjour Voyageurs, je m'appelle Leandro Román, PDG de World Lion Tour. Cette expérience est spéciale car elle inclut : Histoire de la Comuna 13, Art à travers les murs et le graffiti, Culture et transformation sociale du secteur. Nous voulons donc t'inviter à découvrir notre Comuna 13 à Medellín. Lieu qui, en raison de son emplacement, est devenu le secteur le plus dangereux du monde, nous vous dirons ce qui s'est réellement passé dans cette zone, pourquoi les groupes rebelles sont-ils venus ici ? (COMMUNE 13) comment cet endroit s'est formé, comment il s'est établi, le conflit armé en parlant également des 24 opérations militaires ; qui ont eu lieu de 1998 à 2002 ; y compris les deux plus grandes qui sont l'opération Mariscal et l'opération Orión, et bien sûr nous parlerons de la transformation Nous visiterons des galeries d'art, un spectacle de danse et de rap, une maison néon en 3D, un café (bar à café) et quelques points de vue spectaculaires avec quelques attractions supplémentaires! You need to book Vladimir he was an amazing guide that lived through the actual events in Communa 13. You need someone like him to tell you the straight facts. He’s genuine & amazing.
We highly recommend a tour with this tour company. We had the chance to do the tour in English with Nathalie and loved her sharing of experience and her professionalism. Definitely one of our highlights of our two week trip to Colombia.
That was an interesting walk and the stories. However: 1. It took 2 hours, not 3. 2. The tour description says "we visit coffee shop" with snacks included - I don't think we had that. 3. At the end the guide said "it's a free walking tour so we depend on your tips". I'm OK with tips and I often take free walking tours, but that was not a free walking tour, I paid Viator $18 for it! For a moment I thought that maybe I joined a different tour, not the one I booked - but no, in the beginning the guide called us by names and my name was in his list. So maybe they merged a few tours, I don't know. 4. I felt a bit weird that the tour ended at the furthest point in the Comuna and the guide just told us to get back on our own (walk down, take the escalators, walk more, take a bus, and finally you will be back at the station). I would expect the guide to walk the group (or at least those who did not want to spend more time there on their own) at least to the bus.

Andrés is an excellent guide and has taught us in a very enjoyable, balanced and captivating way the history of the district and all urban art! Very complete and interesting. I recommend it!

Esteban was our guide in English and he made ir very interesting. This tour is a must in Medellin and I loved the way Esteban told us about the long violence and now opportunities history of the area.

We toured Comuna 13 with Daniel .Thank you to Leandro who fought for us and who included us in Daniel's band at the last minute because our tour was cancelled. Daniel did a really good job telling the story of Comuna 13 in which he lives, he made the visit very pleasant. He knew a lot about the Comuna and all the questions people had, he took his time. 3h walking tour (and a little more) perfect and certainly the best tour we have done. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a good visit to the beautiful and incredible Comuna 13 it is definitely worth it. We were able to attend rap impro, hip hop dances by locals, visit an art gallery and stop for the famous ice cream! It was just great. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

The tour was great fun, lasted until 5pm so really worth it. Got to hear about the interesting past of Communa 13 and got to see the vibrant community it has since turned into. Our tour guide Santiago was amazing, always full of enthusiasm and his English was very good. Would really recommend this tour, plus we were told some of our tip is returned to the community to invest in the children's education.
