From the moment our knowledgeable and incredibly entertaining guide Rachel met us, we were transported back in time through London’s rich pub culture. We visited a fantastic selection of authentic, centuries-old pubs—each with its own fascinating history, from hidden Tudor gems to Victorian classics with stunning interiors. Our guide shared captivating stories about everything from famous literary patrons and royal connections to the evolution of British ale and the role pubs played in shaping the city. It was like a living history lesson, but far more fun and immersive! The pacing was perfect—not rushed, with plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere, chat with locals, and enjoy perfectly poured pints of traditional cask ales and some excellent British pub classics. Whether you’re a history buff, a beer enthusiast, or just looking for a memorable way to explore London, this tour delivers on every level. The small group size made it feel personal and friendly, and our guide’s passion and humor kept everyone engaged the entire time. Conner was an amazing guide. He was charismatic, engaging, and very knowledgeable. He was with a young lady, Sara who was learning the ropes but she was nice too. The length of time of this tour was just right. You don't return to your starting point your tour ends at the last pub. The drink recommendations were great and he tried to Taylor it to the large group. He had great knowledge of the history of the places as well as the areas we visited. The pubs were spaced well apart and the pacing of the tour was right on. We would recommend.
