Alex was a wonderful guide. He gave us a wonderful overview of the history or Romania while taking us through the neighborhoods of Bucharest. We got a good understanding of the country pre and post communism. The Village Museum gave us a nice perspective of life in rural Romania. He was extremely knowledgeable and enjoyed talking about his country. I would highly recommend him as a guide.

Alex gave us an outstanding tour. We learned so much about Romania and the prior history. We were transported in a very comfortable and safe SUV and shown the important sites around Bucherest. Alex has a great knowledge of Romanian history and helped us better understand the complex and complicated history of the country. We also learned the differences between the various regions. An added bonus was how very flexible Alex is. I am travel with my 85 year old mother and Alex was able to alter the tour to factor in her needs and accommodate for the extreme heat this summer. Bucharest is a beautiful city and Alex did a great job of showing us the best parts. This was a great tour and we enjoyed the ability to customize the trip to accommodate an injury that I had suffered which made walking more difficult. This one is worth every penny.
