$19 self walking tour through Hemingway’s House provided a unique insight into Hemingway’s private home and gardens. I found several cats lounging and living their best life. The home had interesting memorabilia.
Great walking tour! Tour guide was very informative. We ended up at Kermit's for lunch and key lime pie. We got to meet Kermit too!
Great tour guide! She let us in on all the drama surrounding Hemingway’s life! The info stayed with me and the tour guide’s story of his death made me want to do some more research on my own about him. The house is nice, too. Such a prolific writer, a traveler, fisherman, boxer, and he had depression much of his life. And much more…
This was an awesome tour we throughly enjoyed our tour guide Caleb who’s sense of humor had us in stitches. Great way to learn the history.
The operator cancelled our reservation so we had 0 experience. I have been trying to try and get a refund. But operator points at you and you point at them. Right now this all looks like a scam. Unless you can fix this
THIS PERSON DID NOT TAKE OUR TOUR. We made every effort to accomodate him. When his tour was cancelled, we throughly explained to him 4 times the instructions on how to get a refund FROM VIATOR. He did NOT follow our instructions. We reached out to him again and explained a 5th time how to get a refund, he listened and got his refund from Viator. It's unfortunate that people like this are allowed by Viator to impune the integrity of one of the most reputable tour companies in Key West, without actually taking the tour.
It was cancelled so I have nothing to tell. If you try to book it, they will cancel it on you and try to push you to book the Hemingway food tour or Jimmy Buffet.
This person unfortunately did not experience the tour. We never want to cancel any tour and every effort is made to accommodate every guest, including offering them free upgrades to other tours. But sometimes in life and the tour business things just don't work out.
Not worth it for what you get. Too expensive. $70 per person - did not even include the Hemingway houses.
Lol, welcome to Key West! The home of some of the most expensive real estate in the United States, where you can rent a ROOM for $2,500 a month + utilities. The tour guides and the company have to live and survive in this environment so they can give you a tour. The Hemingway house is a seperate tour and not included in the tour description. If you had spent $20 more you could have had lunch, an alcoholic beverage, and a splice of key lime pie on our Hemingway Food and Walking Tour.
Loved the walking tour of the house and grounds. . Our guide was so knowledgeable and loved seeing the 6 toed cats. My favorite spot was the writing studio of Ernest Hemingway. It’s a bucket list must do in Key West!
We were given so many Hemingway pearls throughout the walking tour. It uncovered Key West in such a valuable way. Caleb's literary background made this experience higher level.

Great variety of music. Casey was a wonderful hostess. It was a fun first night in Key West and a great way to get introduced into the area.
