Lovely day out and friendly guide Afzan
Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad to hear you had a lovely day out and enjoyed the company of your friendly guide, Afzan. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again for another wonderful experience!
Hatta Heritage village is beautifully made with Gardens, Lake area with fish. Cafes and restaurents nearby. And the major attraction is Al Falaj Tunnel the ancient 2000 year old tunnel (renovated) with huge history and natural water springs. An 40 minute tour inside tunnel is awesome and quiet informative. Al Hajaran is the really nice dine in restaurent with nice and tasty food, supportive staff. Must visit Heritage village to enjoy the Arabic Heritage
I am a bit disappointed with the organisation of the trip. Here are the positives and negatives: Positives: - The Kayaking was good. - Smooth and accurate pick up and drop off Negatives: - the whole trip was quite rushed. - there was not enough time to spend in the village - the description gave the impression that it is a guided tour, but that was not the case. - the interaction wasn’t the best in terms of friendliness.
After living in dubai for many years Id NOT recommend this tour. It’s really poor value for money, and the itinerary, while being already not generous, was cut in HALF. Its poorly organised, and you’re better off taking the public RTA buses, and then the kayaking tickets (25+60 dirhams), while still maintaining your own pace. Our tour guide was grumpy and constantly hurrying us while shortselling us on the same attractions he was meant to chapperone us through. Disappointing.
Failure to Deliver Itinerary: The Hatta stops were missed, and there was no professional tour guide, all rushed. Unplanned Tour Deviations: At 1:00 PM in Hatta, the driver said to return to Dubai to pick up other passengers, which 5+ hours of unnecessary travel back to Dubai and back to desert not included in the agenda. Communication was not possible as our calls were blocked by RAH Tourism agent.
There was not a lot to see or do at the Hatta Heritage Village or the other stop. Asif didn’t stop for the mountain photograph or the Hatta Wadi park. Didn’t realise we’d missed out these until we were on our way back. We all felt we were rushed at every stop. There was nowhere time to buy food. Trip lasted from 8am to 1:30pm so not the length advertised. Hatta Heritage village was unfinished and there was very little to see. The kayaking on the dam was ok but there is not far to go and only saw a few birds and lots of rocks, The driver didn’t give us any information about the areas we were passing through and almost none at the spots we stopped at.. His driving was very aggressive and his sudden lane changes were dangerous. Would not recommend this tour.
Very very poor . Brochure stated pick up at 8 am . Waiting was charged twice final pick up was 9:30 am . The ride was long and now lots of traffic. The village was a poor experience with first the kayaking which was ok a hour After that the short walk through the village was weak. A large portion of the village was closed and had the construction workers or workers inside huts or just locked up. Overall a waste of money and more importantly a waste of our day on vacation.
Nothing to do or see. The Heritage “village” is closed, so there is nothing for you to see. The kayaking in dam is nice (only highlight of the trip) but it’s not possible to do it for 1 he under the scorching sun. Better save your money and go to the beach in Dubai. I would not recommend this tour.
Hatta tour with yasir was well organised enough time for each place we visited kayaking was fun i recommend this place people who love nature.
The best thing about the tour was definitely kayaking. Unfortunately, our tour guide was not too montivated, which we thought was a shame. Unfortunately, we also did not approach all the stops that were in the description. Hatta Village was still closed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the tour.
