Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour Londres avec Transport

Azeez, our driver, was incredible, we can’t recommend him enough! He gave us many recommendations for our time in London and the conversation was riveting, I didn’t want the trip to end. Thanks again!

We booked return transport to Warner Brother Studios - The Making of Harry Potter. I do not recommend this transport option! 1st, the driver was not that nice - sounded more like she was doing us a favour. Although we can stay as long as we want in the studio, the bus has a strict 3 hour policy - we need to finish our tour within 3 hours & be picked right after. They give us a return slip - so we cant even take a later bus if we wanted to. This is a rip off. I rearranged by return transport with someone else. Paid 130 pounds - such a waste of money. Do not book transport to the studio through this service.

The Harry Potter Studio Tour itself was fantastic and absolutely worth doing. My issue was with Golden Tours, not the studio. Before we boarded, Golden Tours were selling food and told us that food inside the studio was significantly more expensive. We paid £12 and basically got a small snack. Once we got inside, we found you could get an actual hot burger and fries for around £13. That felt very misleading and honestly left a bad taste before the tour had even really started. The coach also had a TV unit at every seat, which sounded like a nice touch because you could supposedly watch Harry Potter films and behind-the-scenes content on the journey. Ours barely worked. When it did work, the quality was so poor that it was basically useless. The studio tour itself was top notch, but I wouldn’t use Golden Tours again. If I did this trip again, I would book the studio tickets directly and arrange separate transport. The extra Golden Tours experience added very little and, in our case, actually made the day worse.

The bus ride was in my opinion bad, the driver drove as if no one was present so that some guests became nauseous, one did not have more contact with the staff, the return trip was delayed and one had to change buses

Golden Tours is a good way to visit the WB Harry Potter studios near London. The ride was fine. A little confusing on where to embark and the bus broke down on the way back.

It was a wonderful experience seeing the sets, costumes, props used in the films. Some on the behind the scenes information was very informative.

The experience was great, the bus wrap was cool. For premium seating- you have those TVs in the way, you can’t see London and the seats weren’t worth the extra money. You could make them flip down or mount them lower to make the view better, also do Harry Potter experience- you should have a Harry Potter film playing or decorate a little. Make it more of an experience, get people excited on the way to Warner Brothers

Absolutely disgusting treatment from every person I encountered. I accidentally booked a Harry Potter Tour for myself and my husband for 2 September instead of today (9 September). We were not even in the country on 2 September as we only landed here from South Africa on 3 September. We arrived today for the 11:00 bus to the Harry Potter studios (still believing we had booked for today). As soon as the host realised the error, he literally pushed us away from the bus and told the driver to leave. I was still trying to process what has happened when he shut the door in my face and drove off. I literally burst into tears as this was not a small amount of money for me and we had been looking forward to it for ages. I called the customer care line and was also immediately dismissed, saying that we were a “no show” last week and there is nothing they can do to refund or reschedule the tickets. I understand the refund policy however this is a very unique situation - I can even provide proof that we only flew in from South Africa on 3 September. However the absolute lack of caring, compassion or desire to assist or meet me half way was absolutely disgusting. I have since also learned that you can book directly with Warner Brothers to see the studio at half the price - and they actually treat you like a human being and not like trash. I will NEVER use Golden Tours again. Money hungry and rude!!!

We booked for the five of us. The price was adequate but everything else was not. The primary reason for writing this review is because of promises made by the tour company that most certainly were not kept. I am enclosing two photos of the brochure. First, it is a branded Harry Potter double decker bus but the ride was brutal - extremely bumpy and several times, the driver stopped short leaving everything to go flying. Going by any other mode of transportation would have been smoother. It certainly was not possible to nap for the 80 minute ride. As for the promises... 1 - "Exclusive personal in-seat entertainment screen". Absolutely not. I have no idea about the top of the bus but downstairs, there were two tiny about 12" x 16" screens, one for each side of the bus. More on that next. 2 - "Exclusive opportunity to watch a Harry Potter film during the journey". If you have binoculars. Regarding the two 12" x 16" screens up front, yes you can see it, if you have binoculars. Or if you are in the first 2-3 rows of seats. But if you are more than 10' away, forget it. No way can you really see it. And notice it says "see". Because you certainly can't hear it. They had the sound on extremely softly, if at all. 3 - "Free WiFi available". Available to whom?Yes, I set my phone to "WiFi", yes I selected the tour bus WiFi. It hooked up for a second. Then next thing you know, about 1 second later, it disconnected itself. My wife and I tried this separately about 7 or 8 times each and in both directions. Sorry, the WIFi was not operable. One tip - when you meet at the office before the trip, if you have to use the rest room, make sure there's enough toilet paper. I won't say more. Another tip - they say to be there at 10:30 for an 11:15 trip. Do you want to wait 45 minutes for...nothing? Between the rough ride and the lack of promised features, what are you really getting? Oh, and one last thing. On the way there, no one made us wear seat belts. However on the way back, the driver was emphatic that we needed to wear them. Normally, fine. Except the seatbelts didn't easily slide open or closed. You were forced to have this seat belt digging in you for 80 minutes with no "give" to allow you to get comfortable. In short, take a different service. You'll be much happier.
