New visit to a Hard Rock Cafe, this time in New Orleans. Unfortunately, no surprising sensations from other experiences. Everything's plain. Beverages, burgers, sides, desserts. You know what you're looking for and you find it.
Wonderful service by emmual. Nice guy funny. Manager stopped in to see all the fun! Food excellent.
Came in on a Friday afternoon at 4pm, only 3 other tables occupied but took a waitress 15 minutes to come over and ask if we wanted something. Ordered drinks, starts and mains. Starter arrived, supposed to be chicken tenders, portion size was more like 4 chicken nuggets. Then waited 25 minutes before being able to stop the waitress and ask where our mains were, she told us they weren’t ordered yet. In the 90 minutes we were in the place it was empty, stayed empty despite being right on Bourbon Street which was packed with people and other restaurants with queues outside. Terrible service, lack of interest , poor show for a Hard Rock
Great place to eat in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Right on Bourbon street with all the action . Jazz band played outside & had live music one night. Staff as usual in HRC were really nice
I went for lunch at Hard Rock and the restaurant was virtually empty when I visited before 12pm. The restaurant was quite large with lots of seating options, a good bar and unique exhibits on display of musical memorabilia. I ordered the New York strip which was very good and had a soft drink as the refills are free. Unfortunately, the prices are now very high especially when combined with the minimum 18% service charge in the US.
1st time we went was 9.30pm on a Monday lots of free tables but clearly not enough staff to manage them as we were told we couldn't get a table for more than 2 hours Went back next day got table. We weren't asked if we wanted a 2 Nd drink or a dessert basically the bill was put on our table and we were expected to pay and go. Needless to say the tip I gave represented the service and the server was not happy.
Sean the Manager and Pattie our server were attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for anything! Enjoyed the decor and of course, the shop!
I thought this would be better. I don’t really go to Hard Rock’s for the food but for the atmosphere and this was kind of a letdown. The decor was minimal and there weren’t TV’s everywhere like I’m used to. The menu showed promise as there were some new items, like the jambalaya I tried, but it was a pale imitation.
I eaten at Hard Rock Cafe's everywhere. This one I wont be back to. On the the edge of Bourbon Street it seemed like a "Can't miss!" Well it did. Though I was seated quickly - my waitress decided to socialize with a table for 10 minutes while I was in plain view - no apology ! My fries were cold and hamburger overcooked. I had to grab her attention every time as I was an afterthought.
Bad food, bad service, all the bad. Obviously they were having a very bad day. Our server was in tears and she kept forgetting us. She was way in over her head. The staff didn’t seem to look like they were working as a team, either. A well run restaurant it is not. We had salads and they were barely ok.
