Le Handmade Tea Tour offre trois expériences principales, en commençant par la récolte du thé dans notre domaine de thé. 1. Plucking de thé : Commencez par une séance de cueillette de thé, y compris le culte traditionnel dans un kovil voisin. Les participants reçoivent un panier et peuvent porter une tenue traditionnelle de pince à thé. 2. Crafting du thé : Visitez une mini installation pour voir la fabrication du thé à la main, suivie d'un bref aperçu du processus de fabrication du thé à l'usine et de l'emballage du thé que vous avez choisi. 3. Dégustation de thé : Profitez d'une dégustation de thé au Sky Cafe. La visite peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 visiteurs à la fois, avec six créneaux quotidiens : Slots horaires de visite du thé faits à la main : (heure sri-lankaise). 8 : 00 a.m. - 10 : 00 a.m. 9 h 30 - 11 h 30 11 : 00 a.m. - 1 : 00 p.m. 12 : 30 p.m. - 2 : 30 p.m. 2 : 00 p.m. - 4 : 00 p.m. 3 : 30 p.m. - 5 : 30 a.m. Pour plus de détails, communiquez avec la personne ressource de l'usine de thé.

We had the full tour at Halpewattee factory/plantation today and it was an excellent experience. Our guide Janitha explained everything perfectly and we had a really good timr.

The tea factory is so crowd and full of people joining different tours, so need to stay alert and keep asking the staff in order to make sure can join the tour, The hand-make tea guide and staft were so so so helpful and nice. He explians every details of tea making. We enjoy it a lot

Exceeds expectations - great experience learning about the history of tea, tea harvesting and making and the option to make your own tea was super fun for the whole family. Harshan our guide was fantastic and enthusiastic. The setting was beautiful. it was nice and cool, there was a well appointed tea shop, a little cafe serving baked goods and coffee. Highly recommended!

Such a worthwhile experience! I enjoyed every second: learning about the tea plant, picking our own leaves, making our own green tea from what we picked and the factory tour. Our tour guide Hashan was very friendly and enthusiastic and was very knowledgeable. Was also a good photographer! 11/10

It was a great experience to make your own tea and to drink and take it with you at the end. Everything was explained well and the factory is also really active so you can see and understand the whole process.

I accidentally ended up booking 3 different tea estate / factory tours during my trip in Sri Lanka, so I was initially hesitant of doing the 3rd tour, but am really glad that I made it. The site: The factory is the largest among the 3 I've visited, with more automation and a good mix of machines from different ages. The plantation isn't the largest (around 50 acres) as this site is mostly for the black tea factory / tours. However, the site itself is absolutely beautiful, as it sits at top of a hill with 260 degrees paranormal view of the mountains, forests and tea planation grounds. Just the view itself made the tour worth it. The tour: The guide Priyanka is super detailed with her explanations. She went beyond explaining about black tea processing steps, to also include planting of tea trees, to even the tea auctioning process in Sri Lanka. I'm also really glad that the "handmade tea tour" is about green tea, so it gives more variety to the usual black tea factory tour.
