Cette visite à pied d'une demi-journée de plusieurs sites du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO à Pékin, doit voir les attractions du patrimoine à Pékin. Choisissez notre Guide touristique à votre hôtel entre 8h et 13h ou rendez-vous avec le Guide au point de rendez-vous à 7h40 ou 13h00. Ensuite, rendez-vous sur la place Tiananmen, la plus grande place publique de ce type au monde. Situé au cœur de la ville de Pékin, c'est le lieu de défilés et de rassemblements massifs. C'est le lieu où en 1949, du haut d'une tribune sur Tiananmen (la Porte de la Paix Céleste), le président Mao a proclamé la création de la République populaire de Chine. Pour des raisons de sécurité, la place Tiananmen est une place clôturée entourée de grilles de fer basses avec quatre entrées principales – est, ouest, sud et nord. La place est maintenant ouverte au public jusqu'au coucher du soleil, mais tous les touristes doivent passer un contrôle de sécurité avant d'entrer sur la place. Des points de contrôle ont donc été installés à toutes les entrées menant à la place.
Jetez un coup d'œil à l'extérieur de la salle commémorative du président Mao, du monument aux héros du peuple, du magnifique grand hall du peuple, du musée national de Chine, de l'ancienne porte Zhengyang et de la tour à flèche, ainsi que de la tour Tiananmen m la Cité Interdite bien connue.
Ensuite, dirigez-vous vers le palais impérial, également connu sous le nom de "Cité interdite", le groupe d'anciens palais impériaux le plus vaste et le mieux préservé au monde, vieux de 500 ans. Nous allons acheter un billet à l’avance pour éviter la file. Le palais a été construit entre 1406 et 1420, mais a été incendié, reconstruit, mis à sac et rénové d'innombrables fois, de sorte que la plupart de l'architecture que vous pouvez voir aujourd'hui date des années 1700 et suivantes. Vous aurez une visite guidée de la cité interdite. Ensuite, vous terminerez la visite à la sortie nord de la Cité interdite. S'il vous plaît, n'hésitez pas à demander au guide de vous aider à prendre un taxi ou un bus pour votre propre destination. Remarque: un passeport en cours de validité est requis le jour du voyage.

Execellent half day trip to these amazing sites. Jeffrey is a very knowledgeble and experienced guide and planned very well the visiting of the famous landmarks despite the busy times . It was a very informative and pleasant trip and I enjoyed it very much!

Fantastic trip for the day. We chose this as our day 1 trip to get up and used to the time change after a long flight. Lucy was amazing as she kept our group together and taught us about the history of the forbidden city as well as recent discoveries. She had a good sense of humour as well which made the trip even more fun. I would recommend this trip if you wish to learn about the history of the forbidden city but to also stretch your legs and get moving for the day.

Thorough and excellent forbidden city tour, however we only drove past the Tianmen square and did not enter as expected, which was a little disappointing. We were told this is due to significant lines at the square to enter. We will have to book a trip to the square soon.
