Voulez-vous découvrir l’Istrie authentique et locale, avec sa cuisine et sa campagne ? Alors vous devriez nous rejoindre dans une aventure en Vespa. Nous vous guiderons le long de sentiers pittoresques à travers les vignobles et les anciennes oliveraies, avec vue sur les salines en chemin. Notre objectif est d'explorer les coins cachés du paysage et de savourer une véritable cuisine locale. Notre visite commence dans la petite ville de Piran avec un court trajet à travers la ville pour rejoindre la campagne. Les arrêts sont fréquents afin que nous puissions profiter de la vue et prendre autant de photos que vous le souhaitez. Un oléiculteur local nous attend en chemin, où nous aurons une dégustation d'huile d'olive extra vierge. Plus tard, nous vous proposerons un déjeuner léger où vous pourrez faire une courte promenade dans un village d'Istrie. Au retour, nous emprunterons une route le long du littoral avec vue sur l'océan et les villes balnéaires ainsi que sur les pays environnants. nous terminons avec un verre de vin local de retour au bureau tout en partageant nos impressions sur la visite.

Itinéraire
Point de rendez-vous où nous commençons notre aventure. Nous apprendrons à nous connaître ainsi qu'à connaître nos Vespas, afin que nous puissions tous être en confiance et en sécurité sur la route. Vous recevrez également un casque et de l'eau et il sera temps de commencer notre voyage ! Nous commençons par un court trajet à travers la ville pour rejoindre la campagne avec des routes locales peu fréquentées.
Nous continuons notre balade à travers le parc naturel de Secovlje où s'ouvre une vue panoramique sur les salines et nous pouvons profiter de ses environs. Il y aura du temps pour prendre des photos et s'arrêter pour une petite pause.
Le trajet nous mènera à travers de vieux pins et de petits villages d'Istrie. Nous nous arrêterons à quelques-uns d'entre eux et rendrons visite à un producteur d'huile d'olive local. Vous pourrez goûter différentes sortes d’huile d’olive extra vierge et profiter de la vue sur la plantation d’huile d’olive. Vous aurez le temps de faire une courte promenade dans le village et d'admirer la vue. Nous nous arrêterons également dans un konoba istrien local où vous pourrez déguster une cuisine istrienne authentique et des boissons rafraîchissantes.
Sur le chemin du retour, nous empruntons une route panoramique à travers le parc Strunjan et profitons d'une vue sur la côte slovène où vous pourrez également voir la Croatie et l'Italie. Il y aura également des points fréquents pour prendre des photos de paysages.
Nous traverserons la ville côtière d'Izola et verrons les falaises de la baie slovène, tout en longeant l'océan.
Nous retournons à Piran - notre point de départ. Un verre de vin local froid nous attend pour que nous puissions partager notre expérience et terminer par un bon toast.

- La réservation comprend une Vespa pour deux personnes, avec un invité comme conducteur et l'autre comme passager. Vous serez accompagné de guides touristiques sur une Vespa séparée.
- Pour conduire une Vespa, vous avez besoin d'un permis de conduire valide et devez être un adulte âgé de 18 ans ou plus. La réservation comprend une Vespa 50cc, mais des modèles plus puissants (Vespa 125cc) sont également disponibles sur demande ; veuillez indiquer votre préférence dans les commentaires de réservation et nous vérifierons la disponibilité.
- Une caution est demandée avant la visite : 150 € pour la Vespa 50cc et 200 € pour la Vespa 125cc. Cette caution sera entièrement remboursée à la fin de la visite si la Vespa et le matériel sont restitués en bon état.
- La visite dure environ 4 à 5 heures. Les 30 premières minutes seront consacrées aux consignes et règles de sécurité ainsi qu'à la connaissance des uns et des autres ainsi que de vos motos. Le trajet lui-même dure environ 1,5 à 2 heures avec des arrêts fréquents pour admirer le paysage. En chemin, il y a un arrêt d'une demi-heure chez le producteur d'huile et un arrêt d'une heure pour le déjeuner également.

## ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Review for our today's Vespa half-day trip with "Dejan Rollende Istra"** Even the start at 8:30 AM at the *Rollende Istra* office in Piran was perfectly organized. After a brief, friendly handling of the formalities, the handover of the helmets, and a clear introduction to the Vespa, we were off – and from that moment on, a trip began that we will remember for a long time. The route initially took us out of Piran, past the salt pans, along narrow local roads that were wonderful to drive on. Our first stop was a small olive farmer who let us taste his freshly pressed oil. Dejan, our guide, explained the cultivation in an informative, authentic, and incredibly friendly manner. We continued over hills, through valleys, and ancient farming villages. In **Krkavče**, we made a stop and explored the village that is over 1000 years old. We were even allowed to visit the church from the inside – including the oldest part, which is only accessible through a narrow passage behind the altar. A true highlight. And then something wonderful happened: An older villager spontaneously gifted my wife a bouquet of lavender, St. John's wort, bay leaves, rosemary, and an artichoke flower. A touching, heartfelt gesture that made this day even more special. The drive then took us over scenic hilltops with views of opposite mountain villages – a panorama that one does not forget easily. In **Dobrava**, a lunch awaited us at *Restavracija Kamin* on the large terrace with an overwhelming view of the harbor of Izola. Appetizer: regional varieties of ham and salami as well as cheese. Main course: Pasta in truffle cream sauce – and the truffles actually come from the surrounding forests. A delight. To conclude, we took winding mountain roads back to Piran, where our tour ended. ### **Conclusion:** A beautiful, unique excursion through a part of Slovenian Istria – varied, lovingly designed, and full of little surprises. Our heartfelt thanks go to our guide **Dejan**, an extremely lovable, conscientious, and dedicated guide who made this day something truly special. My wife and I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Those who do not participate miss out on something truly wonderful. Amazing guide and experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day tour with Dejan and would absolutely do it again! The Vespa scooters were in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, and equipped with storage compartments for our personal belongings. Dejan was an outstanding guide who led us effortlessly through Piran’s charming neighborhoods, making the entire experience both enjoyable and stress-free. Our first stop was a local olive oil farm, where we learned about the olive oil production process and had the opportunity to sample several delicious varieties. Along the way, Dejan ensured we had plenty of opportunities to take photos and capture the beautiful scenery. He guided us through a variety of local villages and neighborhoods, and in one particularly memorable village, we were given a firsthand glimpse into everyday life in Slovenia. Later, we rode our scooters to an incredible local restaurant, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal featuring regional specialties, including charcuterie, pasta, and truffles—yes, truffles! The hospitality at every stop was exceptional and matched only by the kindness and generosity of the local people we met. This was by far one of the most unique and enjoyable tours we have ever taken. If we find ourselves back in Piran, we will absolutely book this tour with Dejan again. Highly recommended!
Amazing vespa tour and top highlight of our trip to Slovenia & Croatia. Over 5 hours, we zipped through the beautiful, rolling countryside of olive groves and vineyards, with incredible coastal views, and through small villages accessible by local traffic only. We stopped at a family-run olive oil producer for a tasting, toured a small village on foot, and had a fabulous lunch at a restaurant overlooking the coast. Dejan was an excellent host/tour guide; his personal touch added to the experience and safety. He even sent us photos and a video of our adventure after the tour. Overall this was an amazing experience, exceeding our expectations! Highly, highly recommend!

Wonderful experience. Book it. Fabulous Vespa tour with Dejan around the hills and country side outside Piran and in Istria. Dejan showed great care and passion in ensuring we had a great experience. He is very professional from booking to end and his scooters are great. The country side is spectacular, full of Olive groves, grapevines, quaint villages and amazing views. The ride down country roads immerses you in the local life. You experience a fabulous and fascinating Olive Oil tasting and a delicious lunch with a spectacular view. I highly recommend this experience as you get to see more of the local area and Dejan even takes photos and makes a movie of your trip. Worth every cent!
Fantastic and fun experience to do near Piran that offers a different view of the seaside resort you are used to, perfect for an out of the ordinary day. This tour offers the chance to see and experience the beauty of the countryside, salt pans, vineyards, olive groves and some characteristic villages in a unique way, accompanied by Dejan who tells his land in a passionate and professional way, putting you extremely at ease with his friendly character and a very good command of the Italian language. Another highlight of this excursion is the lunch or dinner offered at a very good Istrian restaurant that itself finds the truffles used in the dishes served and where there is also the possibility to buy them at the moment, at more than fair prices, depending on the daily availability. In conclusion this is definitely a highly recommended trip that I hope I will have the opportunity to repeat!

Vespa tour in Piran was excellent experience. Dejan was very kind and explained us a lot of things around Istrian coast. We enjoyed every moment of this tour including olive oil tasting on local farm,very tasteful lunch and all the places which we visited. I highly recommend this tour as one of the best experiences in Piran/Portorož area.
I absolutely loved this tour - Dejan was professional but very friendly and welcoming, and he took me to villages I never would have discovered on my own. The experiences - like the olive oil tasting and the dinner at a local truffle restaurant - were super unique and clearly local gems. I would do this again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone visiting Piran!
