La danse Kecak à Uluwatu, dans le cadre majestueux du temple d'Uluwatu perché sur les falaises de Bali, raconte l'histoire de la quête du prince Rama pour sauver la princesse Sita du roi démon Ravana, en s'inspirant de l'épopée hindoue, le Ramayana. Au coucher du soleil, des artistes masculins torse nu forment un cercle, scandant « cak, cak, cak » sur un rythme envoûtant, incarnant l'armée de singes dirigée par Hanuman. Sur cette toile de fond rythmée, les personnages centraux jouent leurs rôles avec des mouvements gracieux et des gestes expressifs, culminant dans une bataille dramatique entre le bien et le mal. La danse, avec ses chants vocaux vibrants et sa chorégraphie complexe, crée une expérience culturelle immersive qui laisse les spectateurs fascinés par sa puissance et sa beauté, mettant en valeur le riche héritage de la tradition balinaise au milieu de la splendeur naturelle d'Uluwatu.

Operator was Hire Bali Driver and the driver’s name Berata. He was great! Picked us up from our hotel in Nusa Dua and took us to GWK and then Uluwata Temple / Dance, to a restaurant and delivered back home. A charming guy who was great at English. This is a much much better way of doing the trip than just hiring Grabs or you’ll just get stuck at the Temple for ages if you do that. Ask for Berata (driver’s name) especially if you are in Nusa Dua

I had a problem with my join-in tour with another operator I booked through Klook. I wanted to focus on the Uluwatu Temple and Kecak Dance Tour, so I asked ChatGPT for nearby tour operators in Ubud. Fortunately, Hire Bali Driver was recommended. I had a fantastic experience with Wah Ko. Even while driving, he shared his knowledge about the tour. He was incredibly hospitable and great at taking vid/pictures. Overall, I had a great experience with this operator. Initially, I was hesitant because they mentioned that Pandawa Beach wasn’t included in the visit. However, Wah Ko explained that the cliff I wanted was actually at the Uluwatu Temple. I will recommend it to my friends and family!

The entire experience was mesmerising and filled with fun , we went to GWK , Padang Padang beach and uluwatu temple , the sunset at uluwatu followed by the kechak dance was amazing ! . I would like to thank our guide and driver Mr. Agung Manik , has a very calm demeanour , helped to understand the Balinese culture and made the entire trip a memorable one !

Awesome half day activity - a relaxing afternoon at the beach followed by Kecak dance at the temple. My 4 year old daughter loved it. Our guide, Berata, was super friendly and knowledgeable.

A very memorable experience for us. We met our daughter’s high school classmates at the dance. How cool is that. We’re all from Melbourne and haven’t seen each other for about at least 15-20 years. It’s WOW. Gusde our guide look after us with care, very polite and really good at his job. Highly recommended. I will request him next time we’re back. All good with him.
