Le temple de Karnak, également connu sous le nom de complexe de Karnak, est un vaste complexe de temples égyptiens antiques situé dans la ville de Louxor, sur la rive orientale du Nil en Égypte. C’est l’un des sites religieux les plus importants de l’Égypte ancienne et il est considéré comme le plus grand complexe religieux du monde. La construction du temple de Karnak s'est étalée sur une période d'environ 2 000 ans, commençant sous l'Empire du Milieu et se poursuivant tout au long de la période du Nouvel Empire. Il était dédié au culte de la Triade thébaine, composée du dieu Amon, de son épouse Mout et de leur fils Khonsu.
Le temple de Louxor, également connu sous le nom de temple de Louxor, est un ancien temple égyptien situé sur la rive est du Nil, dans la ville de Louxor, en Égypte. C'est l'un des temples les plus importants et les mieux conservés de l'Égypte ancienne. La construction du temple de Louxor remonte à la période du Nouvel Empire de l'Égypte ancienne, les premières structures datant du règne d'Amenhotep III (1390-1352 avant notre ère). Cependant, il a été élargi et modifié par les pharaons ultérieurs, notamment Toutankhamon, Ramsès II et Alexandre le Grand.
