Excursion en bateau d'une demi-journée sur la péninsule de Tahiti et Teahupoo (bateau partagé)
Description
Cette excursion vous fera sortir des sentiers battus avec le meilleur bateau pour observer les vagues de Teahupoo et un capitaine/guide expérimenté. Vous visiterez la partie de Tahiti sans accès routier, accessible uniquement par bateau. Sur notre route vers le Sud, nous ferons quelques arrêts dont : • observation des vagues • une courte promenade pour visiter sur terre • baignade en rivière •plongée en apnée Détenu et exploité localement.

Itinéraire
Rencontrez votre guide/capitaine à la marina de teahupoo où du café et des boulangeries seront servis avant de quitter la marina.
Le premier arrêt sera le fameux reefbreak de Teahupoo où vous pourrez observer les vagues et les surfeurs. Dans la sécurité du canal, votre capitaine d'expérience vous expliquera tout ce que vous devez savoir sur cet endroit spécial.
Ensuite, vous vous dirigerez vers le sud. Passé le bout de la route se trouve le « Fenua Aihere » et son paysage et sa végétation fantastiques, accessible uniquement par bateau car pas d'accès routier. Profitez de la visite touristique pendant que nous naviguons dans le lagon.
Vous ferez une halte à l'embouchure de la rivière « Vaipoiri » et pourrez partir à terre pour une petite balade dans l'une des dernières forêts d'arbres « mape ». En savoir plus sur les plantes locales.
Sur le chemin du retour vers la marina, vous ferez un dernier arrêt pour faire du snorkeling dans un jardin de corail sur un banc de sable blanc.

Our very friendly guide was Tau, who spoke very good English. The boat driver was very good, getting us right by the wave, but safe from it. Unfortunately, the grotto was closed, but the snorkeling and walk in a cool chestnut forest was very nice. The ride around the Fenua Ahire was interesting, especially seeing the school boat bringing the kids home, as the homes are only reachable by boat. We took the morning tour. Coffee and pastries (donut like) were provided.

Discovery of the wildest and most natural part of the island 😁 From the great surf wave of Teahupoo to the waterfalls, basins and caves! We did some snorkeling, hiking, swimming, boat rides and a nice barbecue. And above all a ton of smiles, kindness and humor from the three crew members: Our guide Tao who is as captivating as he is full of charm, our Captain, Chef and eel charmer Robert and his adorable little dog Téquila!

Even though the weather only allowed for the half-day tour instead of the full-day, it was still an unforgettable experience. Watching the surfers at the world-famous Teahupoo wave and taking in the raw beauty of Tahiti Iti was truly special. Haunui is a fantastic captain and guide – knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I felt very well taken care of and learned a lot along the way. Highly recommend!

This was our first excursion during our vacation. The directions to the launch were good; there is a small parking fee (500 pfx). The boat is operated by a family and their island hospitality was great- the banana pancakes, fruits, and juices were tasty. First stop was snorkeling on one of the coral mounts- really nice 30 ft drop off to get a bit of a wall. Next was to Teahupo’o, got to see some good rides. The tour went all the way past the last house and the view of the peaks and valleys were spectacular! We stopped at the hiking cabin and went up a river. You can get out and wade here. Fruits, juices, and spiked punch was served. It was just a lovely trip and such a great way to kick off our trip.

Excellent tour with a pilot guide himself surfing! Very nice with lots of explanations. This surf village is better understood after this excursion.
