Wear your sunscreen and be prepared to do a bit of paddling- not too much but just enough to keep the raft from tipping and navigating through the rocks. This is a small family outfit but the experience was big. Our guide, Mark, was great!
Bucket list for seniors. we all enjoyed, four of us, our white water rafting on the Arkansas river. Mark was an excellent guide and I’m really pleased that I had found this company for our rafting trip. I would definitely recommend them to do any of your outdoor activities.
Great fun with great guide. Been on other rafting trips through the Gorge and this was one of the best. Went later in the summer so flow was a bit lower but still pretty thrilling.
Journey Quest gave us an unforgettable white water rafting experience, and our guide, LJ, was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating from the start. The customer service was top-notch—they offered to reschedule or switch locations at the last minute without any hassle, which made planning stress-free and easy. What made the trip truly meaningful was the way LJ wove faith into the experience. She prayed with us before launching and shared the Word of God in a way that was genuine and uplifting. She was also amazing with the kids, encouraging them and even letting them give rowing commands toward the end—they loved it. Our group ranged in age from 5 to 69, and there were plenty of rapids to keep things exciting for everyone while still feeling safe and well-guided. We never felt rushed, and the entire day felt relaxed and intentional. Between the fair pricing, the fun van ride, and LJ’s great sense of humor, it was a joyful and memorable adventure from start to finish. Journey Quest isn’t just a rafting company—it’s an experience with heart. We’ll definitely be back.

This was so fun for my family and the guides were really great. They got some great photos along the way and we were able to purchase these afterwards. I liked that this was a faith-based company and you could tell their employees thought very highly of them, and they worked well as a team.
My wife and 3 young adult children had our first rafting experience and it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and explained everything. Our guide, Ethan, was great! He gave clear instructions and we felt completely safe. It was a fun surprise to find out that the owner grew up in the same town we are from, did not know that in advance.
We did a half day on the Royal Gorge and it was a blast! Or guide had over 15 years experience on the river. We wore wet suits and splash jackets on our June trip and were very comfortable. We will absolutely be back!
Excellent Guide. Beside being a great navigator he was very socialable and new the history of the royal gorge. And Journey Quest personnel were all very friendly and hospitable An adventure we will not forget
