Our tour guide was very informative and did a great job with telling us about the local culture and life in Moldova. However, our tour was combined with another tour group on short notice, and as a consequence, our farmhouse tour was skipped completely without informing us. We only found out after specifically asking about it toward the end of the tour. Another church was added to the itinerary instead, which was also beautiful and definitely worth a visit, but it was not the tour we had booked. Additionally, the driving was dangerous with the driver going up to 175 km/h on small rural roads, making the experience scary at times.
Dear Asta, We are sorry about not reaching your expectations. Still, let's be honest about some things you mentioned. You places the booking on 01.08 at 10:26 (less than 48 hours before the tour) and we informed you about doing the tour together with other persons on the second day at 13:18. You confirmed that it is fine to do the tour on 03.08 together with other persons. As an alternative, we offered you the possibility to have a private tour on 03.08, but in the afternoon, which you refused. We informed you about adding a new destination as a bonus to the existing tour - Curchi Monastery. As you mentioned, it worth a visit. Unfortunately, we didn't know the guide decided to skip the farmhouse. We apologize and will refund you the entry tickets for this place. Regarding the high speed, of course - this is unacceptable. We talked to the driver and he confirmed he was late for Cricova Winery and decided to overspeed. We are sorry for this uncomfortable situation. This will not happen again. Best regards, Andrei
We had a lovely day touring around old Orhei with Corneliu and a delicious lunch. Recommend this trip with the farm as it was lovely
The tour was excellent, it was prolonged and adjusted to our needs and a bonus site was added to the tour program. The guide had an excellent knowledge not only about the destinations we visited, but also about various aspects of Moldovan culture and everyday life. I would definitely recommend.
A wonderful tour where you get close to an authentic village in Moldova. The guide is completely amazing and immensely knowledgeable. We got answers to all sorts of questions about Moldova and Chisinau. Great recommendation from here!
Our tour guide Corina shared a lot of information about Moldova, it's history, life as a Moldovan in the rural areas, and the city. Our tour experience was top-notch. Highly recommend.
If you’re staying in Chisinau, do yourself a favor and take this tour to see what’s outside of the city. Eleonora was an amazing guide. She shared her knowledge of the area as a conversation, instead of just listing off information from a script. It felt like spending an afternoon with a friend.
Amazing experience! All was fine and all was perfect planned. The guide miss Ecaterina simply the best ! She drive carefully, she explained all very detailed and she is a good and caring woman. Thank you
The tour guide Eleonora was fantastic. She was very informative, answered all the questions we had and was also fun which is always a massive positive when going on a half day tour. Highly reccomended.
Vasilij was a great driver and guide. We visited many beautiful places, communication has been done via Whatsapp, everything was great.
We were a family group of four. We were picked up promptly at 10am at my daughter's flat in the outskirts of Chisinau and were dropped back in the centre of town about 3pm so we could continue sightseeing there. The driver was excellent and he drove us in a large, very comfortable and well maintained car. Our guide for the day was Eleonora and she told us all about the history, economy and culture of the villages we passed through on the way to Old Orhei. Once there she showed us around a traditional house and farm, and took us up to the two monasteries. She was kind, easy-going and an excellent guide. We especially enjoyed being able to ask loads of questions about life for ordinary people in Moldova. The highlight of the tour for me was emerging out of the Church cut into the cliffs on to the ledge and hearing all the frogs croaking in the river down below! The village was far more rural than we expected, though there were good toilet facilities there! One regret is we wish we had taken a snack with us, as we were very hungry by the time we got back to Chisinau! There are traditional places to stay there and I would love to go back and visit one time!
