Rafting en eaux vives d'une demi-journée dans la New River Gorge

The whole family agreed that this was one of our best rafting experiences. Everything was super organized getting to and from the river and the guides were knowledgeable and passionate about rafting. We lucked into a great water level for late summer and experienced a lot of fun rapids. Highly recommend this half day tour if you have limited time.

Our guide was incredible and we had a great time! Pretty mild whitewater, we were actually expecting a bit more even though it was the casual route. So we may do one of the other trips next time we go. It was our first time so the milder trip was definitely the way to go, but we'll defiantly be coming back. We've never been to ACE Adventures before so it was a new experience for us, and we were very pleased with it. It's a very cool facility with lots to do. Kinda had a summer camp feel to it, but with tons of amenities. Very professional staff and our guide was exceptional!

This experience was nothing short of thrilling! Our guide Archy made us feel safe and comfortable, and we even got a few history facts in the midst of the chaos. He was so fun and personable, we will definitely be coming back.

We had a great day out, did the half day lower river. Our guide was “TUG”, and he was amazing. I’ve done other rafting companies and I can testify that ACE is the best.

My friends and I rafted the New River for the first time. Our guide, Justin, was super - friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. Ask for him when you're booking and you won't be sorry! Carl, the bus driver, was awesome too! We opted for the half day trip, but there was still plenty of time to get out of the raft and swim in the river. The white water was amazing and with Justin's instructions on paddling, we all stayed in the raft :)

We did the 1/2 day lower new river rafting trip with Ace Adventure Resorts and had a great time. They accommodated our large group of 13 in 2 boats but kept us together as we went down the river so we could interact with the whole group during the calm portions of the river. The rafting was exciting but also manageable for a few first timers in whitewater. They provide all the needed safety equipment and instructions to be safe yet have an exciting rafting trip. The facility also provides private warm showers for when your trip is over, as well as a gift shop for souvenirs and even a restaurant. Highly recommended!

What an incredible afternoon! Where else can you combine challenging rapids with glorious landscape? Our guide, in between rapids, would draw our attention to our beautiful surroundings because it’s easy to focus only on the water. And speaking of our guide, SCOTTY O, was the river master, guiding us through challenging waters with artful precision. Not gonna lie, I was nervous going in, but soon realized we were in good hands. He told us exactly what to do before and during each rapid while he, like a wizard, steered us out of harm’s way. We laughed from start to finish at his jokes and stories, that is, when we weren’t paddling ferociously at his instruction. Truly, he made the trip. And we left with a deep respect for the powerful waters of New River, our knowledgeable and personable guru guide, and the Creator of such an amazing river gorge. Don’t miss this trip.
