Mais ne vous inquiétez pas, le bruit s'estompe rapidement lorsque nous arrivons à la péninsule de Binh Quoi – Thanh Da. Ici, vous traverserez une oasis sereine de routes secondaires et de canaux tranquilles, embrassant instantanément le rythme authentique et lent de la campagne. Cette transition unique offre le contraste parfait, vous permettant de respirer l'air frais et de trouver la tranquillité à quelques minutes du centre-ville animé.
Cette péninsule tranquille, souvent appelée poumon vert de la ville, offre une oasis sereine où vous pourrez respirer l'air frais tout en pédalant devant des villages paisibles et des canaux ombragés. Pour approfondir votre compréhension du patrimoine local, nous visiterons le temple Binh Quoi, en acquérant un aperçu de la riche culture et de la vie spirituelle des communautés vietnamiennes du Sud. Do yourself a favour and get on this tour!!! Cannot recommend it highly enough!!! JP the tour guide was absolutely brilliant. As a first time visitor to Ho Chi Minh, I found the traffic terrifying at first. But JP makes you feel safe and does an excellent job of guiding you through the chaos safely. His English is great and his communication and instructions are very clear. We started the day off at the Caocao office in town, maneuver your way through the chaotic traffic, cross the bridge to a beautiful slower paced area full of greenery, including lotus ponds and water coconuts. The visit to the temple was educational and the beverage rest stop was full of colorful locals, some of whom are keen to try their English - a real highlight. The hostess here is an absolute gem! So lovely and welcoming!!! The tour continues on to include a ferry ride to cross over the river, and back through town and JP is so knowledgeable and brilliant at his job. Can’t recommend this tour enough!!

It was a pleasure riding with JP for my half day tour of Ho Chi Minh's Green areas. I took the Green Oasis biking tour, It was fun riding with Quynh Nhu (Sunny), aka Wiun You(Will 😜). Thanks for the watermelon Sunny! Enjoyed finding out way through Ho Chi Minh's chaotic motorbike traffic, riding through alleyways, along the Thanh Da Canal, and through the peninsula village. The Fruits, juices offer were nice! Got to know about Vietnamese folk culture and drawing parallels with Indian folk religion! It was my first time riding a bicycle in such a bustling city, and I felt safe riding with sunny!

We did the half day bike tour in Ho Chi Minh City, going to a relatively rural green belt in the middle of the city. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was an astounding experience. The first hour or so was navigating Ho Chi Minh City traffic, and I have to say, I felt impressed with myself that I survived. However, our guide, Sunny, was amazing, and she guided us through the chaos with ease. The interior "village" was much calmer, beautiful, with lots of canals and lotus flowers (and snacks and juices) that my friend and I really enjoyed. Sunny was very kind the whole time, and gave us a good amount of information about the area and answered all of our questions.
