Edoardo, the guide, was super! Capable of adapting to our needs (4 adults and 4 teenagers). He shared his passion with us and made the visit to S. Pietro truly unique and precious!
We participated in the tour "St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Grottos" guided by Edoardo, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the very beginning, he managed to capture our attention with an engaging, clear narrative rich in historical details and curiosities that made the visit much more than just a simple walk. The visit to St. Peter's Basilica was intense and fascinating, but one of the most exciting moments was definitely the stop in front of Michelangelo's Pietà, described with such sensitivity and precision that it made one perceive its artistic and emotional power in its entirety. The Vatican Grottos were also explained impeccably, with historical references and anecdotes that made the tour even more interesting and understandable. Edoardo proved to be a knowledgeable, passionate guide capable of truly bringing the visited places to life, not just showing them. A tour absolutely recommended.
Short yet informative tour of the Basilica. Eduardo was eager and capable of answering our questions.
Visiting with Edoardo is better than with Piero Angela and his son; he is even more charming. I recommend him to everyone
We did the tour with Edoardo, who had excellent knowledge and engagement with history, art, and architecture. You can understand and appreciate what you see.
Bridget was an outstanding guide. The information and stories she provided were relevant while we waited for 45mins on the line and to go through security. She then gave info on many key works of art, design features, stories, popes and the grottos. She answered questions with ease. The tour was well paced and she took into account the needs of the group. One of the best tours ever and one of the best guides ever.
The guide, Brigida, was very kind and knowledgeable; she was able to entertain the group with great skill and professionalism.
Eslam was an excelent guide! Went way beyond what was expected. Also the tour is a bargain! Anna
We did not get the tour that we signed up for. The starting time and location was switched at the last minute. I think it was a different company? The tour we actually got did not include the grottos, and the wait in line before it started was at least two hours. We did not have time to wait, so we left and did not see the Basilica.
This tour does not include skip the line tickets therefore you know you have a 60-90 minute wait in line. Our guide used every one of those minutes giving us nuggets of interesting facts and anecdotes. She made sure that everything that was supposed to be covered was covered. I didn't feel rushed or as if I missed anything. I cannot recommend this tour more highly.
