Le marché de sukupira est le plus grand marché de cette île et c'est le marché le plus africain du Cap-Vert.
Cidade Velha a été la première colonie européenne en dehors de l'Europe dans le tropique. Le meilleur endroit pour comprendre l'origine du peuple capverdien et le début de la traite des esclaves dans l'Atlantique.

We were in mid-April individual for a week on Santiago and booked some tours with Cape Verde tours. With Kapverten tours we have only had postive experiences. On-time hotel pick-up, reliable sightseeing and sightseeing of the World Heritage Site with all sights, without time pressure and with a professionally competent guide. Good general knowledge of history, culture and social concerns about the life of the local population in town and in village parts of the island about school systems, vocational education opportunities and job opportunities. No questions remained. To the guide, named Gueltar, perfect in good English and sympathetic to lead and inspire the group, we wish Cape Verde tours continued success in all ways.
An informative and interesting cultural tour of Plateau and Cidade Velha. Our guide Antonio was knowledgeable and garrulous, with evident national pride for this friendly and safe country. Look for the live Cabo Verdian music at Plateau.

We booked the tour for the morning, but had to reschedule just before to the afternoon because of our flight delay. This went very smoothly, without any problems! The tour itself was great, many thanks to Antonio, our guide! He gave a perfect explanation, showed us everything there was to see and we had really nice conversations about the life in Cabo verde! Cape Verde... island of Santiago.... has one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen... with historical monuments and unique characteristics. Cabo verde terra de Morabeza ... with various options of visits and a great demand in gastronomy.

The experience has been 10, Alex has been very friendly and has taught us many things about the history of Cape Verde, you can see that he really likes what he explains and makes you comfortable. Very nice half-day tour with nice guide. We had booked the tour in German, but the provider wrote to us that only English-speaking guides are available on our day. That was no problem for us and our guide also knew great English. Since we were there with my cruise ship I have to give another start time. That was no problem. We were traveling all alone with our guide. So it was a private tour for us. Duration was about 4.5 h
Cosy and informative tour. Orlando our guide was great, knew a lot, was very hard. He adapted very well to the group and took everyone's wishes into account.
