Guerre inconnue. Oslo et la Norvège en 1940-1945

Description

During my stay, I encountered several staff members who were unhelpful and dismissive. When I raised concerns, they were not handled professionally, and I felt my questions and requests were not taken seriously. This negatively affected my overall experience.” This wording is clear, professional, and focuses on the behavior rather than making personal attacks.
I'm sorry to hear that you had such an experience. However, I'm wondering why you chose to post it on my guiding service page, as it doesn't appear to be related to the tour or the services I provide.
Christiania Roklub was established in Oslo (then Christiania) in 1878, and is Norway's second oldest and largest rock club. They had a single clubhouse at Oslo Beach, but got in 1925 one of the world's most beautiful rookie club houses, built on a slope in Frognerkilen in Oslo. Is today the leading rookie club in Norway, with about 100 boats and members of all ages. They have also established a training base with boat houses on the beautiful Bogstadvannet in Oslo. The club has participants in the Olympic Games, World Cup, European Championships and is also great at hiking and exercise rowing. Recommended d:o)

Dear David, Thank you very much for choosing this tour. regards, Rami
Booked Months in advance and kept in touch with Rami during the process. I asked him to combine 2 of his tours together and it worked out great. He was on time, very informative, had plenty of interesting stories and pictures. Great time.
What an amazing tour and an opportunity to learn how times were in Oslo during the occupation and see the main sites. Rami is a knowledgeable and passionate guide with a great eye for photography! You will feel like you are touring with a good friend. I highly recommend this tour!
It was my pleasure to guide you. All the best, Rami
I wish all history was taught this way! Rami has the talent to recreate the past in the modern setting through detailed knowledge and humor. He has an incredible, authentic photo collection and the skill to replicate the exact shot! It creates a connection that makes history personal. It was so interesting to learn about Norway’s involvement in WWII from multiple viewpoints and the impacts actions had on different countries! He is so friendly and fun you can feel his passion! He suggested a beautiful walk back to our hotel and a few restaurants- dinner was delicious. Thank you Rami for a wonderful day and all the stories!
If I ever gather the best reviews of my tours, yours will definitely be on the first page. Thank you!
We had a tour today with Rami. He was extremely informative and enthusiastic. We saw and learned more than we ever would have on our own. His knowledge is extremely impressive, and his personality is great. We would highly recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. Absolutely worth five stars!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! All the best in 2026
Rami was a fantastic guide who brought the WW2 occupation of Norway to life. My husband is a true history buff so this was the perfect tour for him. Rami was so knowledgeable about what life was like for everyday people- and resistance heroes- of Oslo, and had a treasure trove of historic photos of the places we visited. Rami shared so many fascinating stories, and it was a great counterpoint to our visit of the Resistance Museum at Akershus Fortress. Highly recommend this tour!

Very informative tour. I learned a lot about the time period during the War that I didn’t know. The guide had many photos that made his stories come alive. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to gain more in depth knowledge about the Nazi occupation of Norway.
