Hanoï pendant la guerre du Vietnam: le côté sombre de ses monuments les plus célèbres. Découvrez la vie sous l'économie planifiée, le sort des populations locales des deux côtés (Nord et Sud) et l'histoire de l'unification du Vietnam, un pays autrefois divisé entre communiste et anticommuniste, au bord de la GUERRE FROIDE. Notre "promenade" durera environ 2,5 heures, avec un court trajet en taxi à mi-parcours. Le but de ma promenade est de vous faire découvrir des quartiers spécifiques de Hanoï (loin des regards du touriste) à la lumière des aspects de la riche histoire de notre ville qui sont rarement abordés par les guides, avec des informations approfondies (passionnés d'histoire bienvenus) mais dans une atmosphère détendue et joyeuse. Une conversation, plutôt qu'une conférence ! Lieux que nous visiterons: - Cho Gioi: marché noir historique - Kham Thiem: le mémorial B52 - Hanoi Train Street communauté Note: 20% du bénéfice sera reversé à l'Association Vietnamienne pour les Victimes d'Agen Orange/Dioxine et Blue Dragon's Children Foundation.

Au « marché noir » de Cho Gioi, nous découvrons les histoires cachées des suites de la guerre. Vous apprendrez comment l'ingéniosité locale et une économie secrète sont devenues une histoire puissante de survie pendant l'ère difficile de l'économie planifiée, une facette de l'histoire que vous ne trouverez pas dans les guides.
Nous avons visité cette partie historique de Hanoi pour entendre des histoires d'anciens combattants et en apprendre davantage sur la vie de la population locale. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer après avoir beaucoup appris sur l'histoire et la guerre.

Kien is a great storyteller and was able to bring more in depth insights about the Vietnam War and its impact on Hanoi. Really liked we were able to ask questions and go deeper than other guides normally venture. Had a great time and definitely recommend booking this tour if you’d like to understand things better.

Kien started with a great synopsis of the actions leading up to the Vietnam/American war and then took us through the main events of the war itself. Then he took us for a walk through the Sky Market explaining how it came to be and how it works today. He followed this with a walk around other less visited areas of Hanoi. He gave excellent explanations for each point on the walk and delivered his talk with humour and sensitivity. We have taken a number of walking tours over the years and this stands out as one of the very best.
